My recent visit to Playsure Island was an absolute blast, and I'm already looking forward to my next trip! This spot truly lives up to its name as a fantastic hangout, offering a unique blend of delicious food and a vibrant, relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality time with friends.
The food here is simply outstanding. I can confidently say they have some of the best bun kababs I've ever tasted – perfectly sized, packed with flavorful, hand-cut zabiha chicken, and just the right hint of spice. The chicken roll and masala fries were also incredibly good, making for a truly satisfying meal. And you absolutely cannot leave without trying their excellent chai and the delightful sweet paan, which is made right in front of you, allowing for customization. It's clear that every item is crafted with care and offers genuine, authentic flavors.
Beyond the incredible food, the ambiance is what makes Playsure Island special. With pool tables available, it’s an ideal spot for a fun evening with friends, especially with their late-night opening hours. The staff were friendly and the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for such high-quality food and a welcoming environment. Playsure Island is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Pakistani street food and a great place...
Read moreI ordered takeout and showed up about 20 minutes later. The guy at the counter, Rahim, admits he forgot and only then starts making my order. I thought, fine—mistakes happen.
But after waiting another 20 minutes, when he finally hands me my 3 items, I ask for extra chutney like I always do. That’s when things went completely downhill. Rahim tells me it’ll be $15 for extra chutney. At first I thought he was joking, but he was dead serious. After I got upset, he reluctantly offered me one tiny lid—the same amount that usually comes free with just one item.
I even told him I’d gladly pay a small extra charge, just give me one portion per item. But instead, he stood by this ridiculous $15 demand. Keep in mind, each item itself costs only $6–$7. How does it make sense to charge more than double the price of the food for a small side of chutney?
I told him if that’s the case, I’d rather leave without the food—and he let me walk out. That’s how little he cared. I’ve never had such a frustrating, insulting experience at a restaurant. Whoever this Rahim is, he should not be dealing with customers. Every other cashier I’ve dealt with here has been kind and helpful, but this experience was beyond...
