Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Houston

There I was, around lunchtime, working from home, craving a Shipley's glazed. No problem, right? There's a location 3 miles away, if I bike there and back it'll work off some of those delicious calories! So I hop on my bike, pedal through the heat and the Houston kamikaze drivers, thinking how delicious a pair of donuts and an iced coffee or cold milk will taste. I get to the location, where a sign boldly proclaims they are open from 5 am to 10 pm, and THEY REFUSE TO OPEN THE DINING ROOM. Yeah. They advertise as a dine-in location, and they've got nice booths and tables . . . behind a locked door that they won't open for a customer. So I had to pedal sadly home, thirsty and donut-less, wondering what the world has come to when you can't dine in at freaking lunchtime! Some NOT ALL, of the employees are Lazy. How hard is it to make an ice coffee? I asked an employee for an iced coffee in the morning and she claimed they didn’t have any. I went next day and the other lady made me an iced coffee. I go another day during week and they said they didn’t have iced coffee. The machine is not broken they just don’t want to make it according to woman who did make the ice coffee for me. Which I then tipped her. Giving good customer service costs nothing Shipley employees. Always come here never have a problem unless it’s joana who attends me at the drive thru everytime she attends me it’s always an issue with her today I told her I was getting 6 free donuts through the app and I wanted to pay for another 6 instead she charges me for a dozen and another half dozen I tell her I don’t want the dozen and want a refund for it instead of doing so she throws a whole fit and causes a scene so that’s fine I can easily get the money back through the bank thank you for the free donuts Joana next time just process the refund I’ll be going to the Shipley on...
