So I eat at Shrimp Galley at least once a month and the food is good at best. Today's visit was less than impressive, not because of the food, it's because of the customer service. Customer service is the most important part of the service industry.
My man called this place and placed an order for a burger. The lady said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, he went to go get the order, and the lady said it wasn't ready yet. Give them 15 more minutes. So while he waited, 2 ladies went in and got their food almost immediately. Then another person went in and got his food almost immediately as well.
So my man went back in and asked the lady how much longer on the burger. She told him she hadn't gotten started on his order. Mind you, he ordered the burger basket on the phone 40 to 45 minutes prior. He was getting upset and she asked "Do you want the food or not?" with an attitude.
He told her not anymore, and he ended up leaving and going to McDonald's instead. I'm very disappointed with the customer service. The food is good but that attitude of that lady need to change immediately....

Well unfortunately my door dash delivery person never delivered our food our job. So of course I made my complaint through the Door Dash Support Service after waiting 3 hours and 30 mintes for the order. So once I got off work, I decided to call in the same order that I never received. Well I was denied service from this restaurant because of Door Dash told them I canceled the order. I tried to explain to the lady I spoke with at Shrimp Galley, that I waited from 12pm to 3pm for my food that was never delivered. So sad to say, Shrimp Galley then banned me from purchasing from their restaurant because of Door Dash! I have never experienced this in my life! I know this review may be deleted. But I wanted to share my story to see if anyone else, have been treated this way because of "Door Dash?" My rate is for customers service...

I've been coming here since I was at Stephen F Austin high school in 1996 I had never had a issue until I brought my family in 2023 and the owner told me all her burgers always had mayo which is never true when I place and order over the phone she asked if I speak Spanish I told her yes I'm bilguial before I didn't have to do that. I then picked up my order all my burgers had mayonnaise I told her how long I've been coming here she states all burgers always had mayonnaise I told her that that they never had mayonnaise she argued with me and she was very very rude she gives a shame to Hispanic culture she wouldn't make my order up I have a adhd,special needs children's and she would take back my order back as a refund. So I had to just take it and I went to mcdonald's and get my children happy meal cause she wouldn't do it. I prefer to go to MAGIC BURGER ON...
