Literally on my break and I put in an order for pick up 40 minutes ago so when I went into break I should just be able to pick it up. I clocked out 20 minutes ago and pressed the bottom and no one has said anything yet. I even tried to go thru the driverthru first bc it’s simply a pick up order but no that’s closed as well. My first time coming here and I have the most unpleasant service. Someone had came out three times and not once acknowledged me or that he would be with me anytime at all. My food will probably not be edible for as long as it has just been sitting. Still as I am writing this review I had to press the bottom again and still no one is responding. I am trying to stay calm but as anyone can understand I have 30 minutes left on my 1 hr lunch right now. Unacceptable. When I asked for a manager I was told he was busy. So I explained to the person I was speaking to my issue and since my food would have been sitting for over 30 minutes I wanted it remade. Now the manager suddenly becomes available and instead of trying to be understanding he told me my food was only sitting 30 minutes. Yeah. While I was also sitting here 30 minutes and no one assisted me. I had to get out of the car. He tried doing anything other than giving me my food. In this time of rising covid cases in Texas, it is imperative that those who prepare and serve food take additional precautions to prevent the spread of disease. She and many other employees in the food preparation area were not wearing masks and when she came out to speak to me regarding the restrooms being inaccessible she got too close and without having a mask on makes me feel very unsafe eating at this location. I requested to cancel my order and demanded a refund due to the unsanitary conditions, but she refused. After a half-hour phone call to the Sonic Corporate office, I finally got my refund. Sonic Corporate office stated that their policies are that all employees should wear masks and that all locations should have a handicap accessible restroom with an exterior door for customers. This location violates corporate policies as well as general sanitary conditions, by not allowing their "dine in" patio and drive-in customers be safe and to wash their hands before eating in this time of global pandemic. First of all old girl on the other side was Rude, was not patient to let my husband order, she did not want to take her time obviously. Another thing,, when we got the orders, it was hard to determine which of the 3 other shakes were, the last one was not oreo cheesecake, it was just cheesecake, still when requested for other shake, it tasted of pure WHIP CREAM, no oreo flavor what's so ever. Not like the other shakes I've had at other sonic locations. This was the worst, lil hood manager think she can be hood here, or she above customers when they order.
