I was very disappointed today with my first visit to this Sonic location. It started out fine and quickly deteriorated to the point that I wanted to get out of there. I was the only customer at the time and the cashier was patient as I read the menu and tried to decide what to order. As I ordered, there were two men behind the counter area but off to the right of me and out of view. One of the men was talking (arguing) loudly and using the "F" word constantly! All of employees appeared on edge but no one acknowledged the event. Thinking the manager should be aware of this, I asked the cashier if the manager was on duty. She looked toward the area where the two men were and said, yes, and that the "supervisor" was there, too. I don't know which man was swearing so loudly but I assume it was either the manager or the "supervisor". Either way, it was NOT a proper environment or good experience for anyone. My order totaled $12.33 which I paid with a $20.00 bill. The cashier did not have change for a $20 and asked another lady who was at the Take-Out station if she had change for a $20. She did. My change should have been $8.17. My cashier gave me 8 (eight) dollars and asked if it was okay that she didn't have 17 (seventeen) cents. By this time, with the loud swearing, I was ready to leave so I said yes. (Why would a cashier at a fast food establishment NOT have change for a $20?) Also, I pointed out to the cashier that the plastic/glass screen on the side of the soda dispenser nearest her register was FILTHY and needed to be cleaned. I will not go back...
Read moreI would like to start out by saying that I do not normally leave negative reviews. I have visited this store often and each time have had a negative experience. I usually don't like to stop going somewhere after a single negative experience because most of the time it is just someone having a bad day or short-staffed etc. So I usually give places multiple opportunities to treat me right. This location has some of the rudest employees ever. They treat us very negatively. Every time we come. We ask for a simple shake and they get all upset about us asking for that shake. Not only that, but they start taking your order and then cut you off after 3 or 4 seconds to tell you to hold on again. You can barely hear them And they can barely hear us through the drive-thru which also hinders the ability to take your order. Today the manager came to the window and said we don't have Oreos so we chose something different and they were very rudely telling us that they don't have that either. When asked what they do have she said Reese's and we're like just Reese's? And so she gave us one other topping option for the shake. Either they are having a very difficult time with their orders and are really out of most of their products or the manager was trying to refuse to service us without really refusing to service us. Read moreWe were just at Sonic with my family to get some sonic blasts Thursday night. We waited at the speaker quite a while....saying hello? Hello? Then we pulled around and there was another car at the window. We hadn't put our order in so we drove around to park and come in. As I was walking to the door a lady came out with a shake. The open sign was even lit up. Once I got inside the girl told me they were closed. I said what? We have been in line and at the speaker for quite a while....and now you tell me you are closed? She insisted they were closed and that sometimes the speaker doesn't work! I was pissed! She sat there and told me they were closed and it was only 9:15!! I even double checked the website and it says they close at 10:00 pm. This was not the only time I've had problems here. Your employees here are clueless about the menu items AND frequently mess our orders up completely. I never said anything but after Thursday I was over it! No wonder this store gets LOW reviews....management needs to step up and get this place...
