It’s a dive bar, that being said: This place feels just like the old TV show Cheers. Go more than once and the bartenders will remember both your name and your drink--often having it ready as you walk in. The crowd is diverse, friendly, and full of local neighborhood folks. Drinks are cheap, the place is clean, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. On Fridays and Saturdays they host karaoke; even if you're not into singing, it's still a blast watching everyone have fun with it, and sometimes even breaking out into a little dancing. For YEARS, I used to visit this bar at least 3 times a week since I lived in the apts next door. Especially for karaoke night. But today, I drove 45 minutes when I got off of work just to come here. I've always enjoyed a staple shot that they used to serve, and I was craving that shot today. Had I known that the bartender would be so unattentive, I would have gone somewhere else or just went and bought the makings to float my own mini beer. I'll spare all the rest of the details. But before you come here, make sure that you know somebody or you know the short/round bartender so that you can get service. I miss Ms....

Local dive bar with a full bar and a great collection of folks. Has karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights.
