Went into the Starbucks made a purchase was going to utilize the Wi-Fi as I was getting ready to sell some products that I have and Starbucks is typically known for a person to go into conduct business rather on their computer on their phone or online, the manager proceeded to tell me that I could not allow the person who I met there to purchase The phones. I was getting ready to sell . They weren’t stolen. They were my personal phones. I know that may be uncommon for the area I guess, but I was told I had to leave the premises because you cannot conduct business in a business is what the manager proceeded to say, but I feel like she just saw a black person selling something within her establishment And for some reason, she didn’t agree with it. Funny thing is the person who had to tell me so is another African-American. I wasn’t a rude or disrespectful customer and I made a purchase in the establishment and I proceeded to ask why would I not be able to conduct a business in a business when Starbucks is typically known for being able to conduct business within the business? Utilizing the internet That is what it’s for I felt singled out. So I decided to leave a review as I am a well-known reviewer and a content creator. It’s truly sad, especially when you’re not doing anything illegal, but I guess it be your own people sometimes I just pray she’s never placed in a situation where someone has health issues and she has to sell anything that she owns And someone gives her a hard time because I know if I was in Montgomery My neighborhood Starbucks wouldn’t give me any trouble if the client were able to me there instead of houston . I decided not to leave her name. I decided not to leave her name as the only 3 people in the establishment were my spouse myself. And the gentlemen who meet us there so she knows who I am and when I was there I should have just gone to the galleria where I was going to initially but time wasn’t on my side as it was late and had to pick up my kids before my meeting 🙏🏾but praying for her just know this start u is will never get any business from this vet that was judged of my apperance...
Read moreI ordered a drink "extra hot" and was told that is 180° and they can't "push it" as many other locations do. Totally fine. However, when I got my drink (as delicious as it was), it was nowhere near anyone's definition of "extra hot." I order from this location several times a month as well as from 2 others in the area, so I feel confident in this statement. I nicely asked for it to be made hotter. The batista at the window barely acknowledged me, then gave my drink to another barista. I got my drink back pretty quickly (I know they are supposed to remake, but honestly I feel bad about that so I normally ask if they can just heat it more...am always told no. This time she didn't give me a chance to say anything beyond "I'm sorry, but it's not extra hot."). She pretty much gave me the drink and was gone. Did tell me no stir sticks when I asked. Not rude exactly but definitely no customer service. This location as well as the others I frequent are usually staffed with friendly baristas. They say sorry if it's not right, offer to remake a drink if needed, a d check to make sure the remade drink is acceptable. All that...
Read moreI stop here almost every morning. There is one girl that works here that is very friendly and really nice to interact with in the mornings. And there are a couple of guys that I've seen here once or twice that are nice as well. Other than that I feel like the stop really just likes their job. I would definitely say they are not cut out for customer service.. There's no thank you, there's no smile.... there's a deadpan voice and no eye contact. I'm always very friendly but I got tired of smiling and saying thank you when I was handed my drink only to have the person not respond and turn their back to me. A person who wasn't even bothered to be polite. So I've actually trained myself to not say a word to them just take my drink and go. And today my drink tastes particularly bad. Recently changed my route to work and I go past another Starbucks with a drive-thru so I think I will just hit that one from now on. Customer service matters to me and I hate handing my money over to people who can't even...
