If you look at all the negative reviews of this location, it’s all customer service based. And it’s all within the last few months. I’m 35, and I’ve been going to Starbucks since I was 13 in many different cities and countries. In 22 years, I’ve had nothing but great customer service which is one of the things Starbucks is known for. My usual Starbucks location is under construction, and this is the next closest location, so I had to stop here. Never again, I’d rather drive 8 miles than come here again. The horrible customer service everyone is talking about in their reviews comes from a woman. Her name is Janine, and ironically she’s the manager. Blows my mind too. People like her give Starbucks a bad taste. Extremely rude, and honestly personally attacks people with her choice of words.
I came up to the drive thru with my husband who didn’t know what he wanted yet and he asked for a minute but got no response, so then about 10 seconds later he started giving his order where he was greeted with “oh now you know what you want?” Rude, but we just assumed this person was having a bad day, and ordered my usual drink which is not complicated, a double shot espresso with cold foam and cinnamon mixed in. She charged me an extra 80 cents, and when I asked what it was for, she said it was because she was going to have to mix my drink twice. I was so confused and said I didn’t need it mixed, I just wanted cinnamon blended in with the cold foam that already had to be mixed. As I was explaining that, she cut me off and said “yeah ok I get it I get it, you can stop there.” And this point it felt a little too rude for me, so at the window, a gentleman gave us our drinks and I asked for a manager and a woman came up to the window who turned out to be the same girl who took our order. Told her I felt she came on too strong, and she said “no I didn’t, I was being blunt with you. Say what you want, but I wasn’t being rude, just blunt” why would someone need to be blunt to a customer ordering coffee like a normal person? I ended up calling corporate and the manager over that district said he would personally speak with her. Sadly I had to go back to this location because I was dying for Starbucks, and it got bad. She was rude again, and then when she saw me, she started laughing hysterically and said “oh I remember you two very well”. Needless to say I didn’t drink my coffee that day. Read moreI don’t usually stop by Starbucks but when I do, I stop at this location. The service is usually pretty good but yesterday I had a not so great experience with one of the workers at the drive thru. She was very rude when taking my order, the moment I drove up to the speaker and said good afternoon she did not acknowledge me and immediately said “what can I get you”. Also when I drove around to the window, she literally stuck her arm out with the card machine to get my payment. She did not speak at all or acknowledge me still. At this point I am beyond upset and immediately asked for my receipt so I can right this review. She had curly brown/red hair and wore glasses, I was unable to retrieve her name but needed to share my experience because I am big on customer service. There was no need to be disrespectful to customers that are giving our hard earned money to this business and she did not make myself (the customer) feel valued and this experience definitely has me questioning if I want to even return to this...
Read moreOnline ordering is down a lot. I drove thru today and got a nitro cold brew w/ sweet cream and a pup cup. The guy at the window didn’t understand how to apply my stars from my app. He scanned my phone then said I didn’t have have enough for a free drink. I said I should be able to use the ones I have and pay the difference. He said I don’t think that’s how it works and scanned it again, then said I didn’t have any stars. Frustrated, I just asked for my total. He said it was 84 cents. So obviously it reduced my total by applying the stars I had. He just said yeah I guess, then shoved my drinks at me, the pup cup went flying and got whip cream all over my lap and inside of my car. And the lid to my nitro cold brew came off.
