Pricing is confusing. Bars are allowed to be open now but they're still charging things as food/non alcoholic drinks to keep their sales a certain way in order to stay "open" or follow "rules" a ($10 upcharge). If that's the case, based on calculations their happy hour prices are roughly $4.93 for a well drink, you could get much cheaper wells in a better environment elsewhere. Our card was charged before we even wanted to close and before we were given a tab (we gave our card to open a tab) and once we noticed, the excuse was the that it was done in such a way because food vs liquor sales needed to be a certain way to keep their certification -- which was understandable when bars were only allowed to be open if their food sales were 51% of their sales but that's no longer the case in Texas. Unless you're already a regular I don't really recommend this place. You're welcome to view my review history and you'll notice I'm not the type of person to leave bad or low reviews, so take my my word as you'd like.
James the cook was great though.
I thought the apology had been deleted but it hasn't, I'll leave...

My friend opened a tab at the bar and they asked her to leave her credit card which is usually what happens at any bar. We stayed until 1:30 am and when we arrived at home she realized she didn't close her tab or get her credit card back. She called and the person answering the phone acknowledged her card did indeed stay behind. She told them she would pass by on Sunday to pick it up. On Sunday morning she was alerted by her bank that someone had made a charge at HEB for over $200.00. When she called back to the bar asking about her card they told her the card was not there after they already acknowledged the night before it was. The owners need to make sure they know the kind of people they are hiring and letting run their establishment. It's sad that we will probably not go back after we had such a wonderful time and had been waiting for quite awhile to find another small bar to enjoy tejano music and an older more...
Read moreWhen you call to ask information, there’s a white dude he is so ill mannered so disrespectful while answering the phone seems like he doesn’t care about the business. He doesn’t wanna give out information when there’s bands or such events. They need better respectful people to answer the phone and who really cares to produce the business. It’s a good quality Tejano place, but the people that answer the phone forget it. The food is good outside. The people are friendly. We don’t know people that’s a good place to meet people. They’re all friendly. The DJ is...
