Food was very good I ordered breakfast food and it was a good amount for. The down fall is customer service. We drove 1 hour to get there and I noticed they are only friendly and welcoming to their current customers I guess from the neighborhood. The atmosphere was not good I got a bad vibe like from people that are current customers starring you down like who are you. It’s very small you are so close to the table next to you. I would definitely not be coming back. The menu has no prices nothing has a price and it’s embarrassing having to ask the waitress while she’s rushing and is all over the place. You spend around $19 bucks per person or so. We ordered our food not knowing the cost assuming it would be around $7-8 bucks for eggs but it was $14 bucks not including coffee or your drink. They gave me cold milk in a cup for my coffee but I saw all the other tables they gave them hot milk?? They didn’t offer me any options. Humble but mighty place. The style of food here is more akin to the legendary "Fonda". A humble Mexican community kitchen-like type of restaurant that is alive and well in smaller towns and small cities across Mexico. The food here is phenomenal, delicious and cheap, as true Mexican food should be. Be advised that they use the Nuevo Leon Style, very interesting and delicious but DIFFERENT in a good way, it is not your topical fajita place. Not a fancy place and you could easily blame them for not following protocol but that is ok. As you order you could see a mom back there making your plate of food and it will arrive at your table once mom finishes it. Does not take long, tortillas are handmade both flour and corn. My wife and I visit the place today, server came, not the friendliest, got our order, brought our waters and we sat there for about 40 minutes and our food never came. An argument broke out in the kitchen and very unpleasant things wore said between the staff and one lady even said that she didn’t care about any orders and if they wanted the food they can wait for it.
