This use to be a really great place to get lunch from but the last few times ive came here the lady is really rude and does not like to smile or be friendly if you ask her to make your burger with certain way she gets mad last time i asked her ketchup and a side of mayonnaise she told me NO THE MAYONNAISE WAS ALREADY ON THE BURGER it shouldn't matter if it was on the burger im a paying customer but she refused to give it to me and gave 2 packets of ketchup and i had 4 orders all with frys seriously 2 only !! then i get home and the frys were changed to some cheap skinny frys harder then rocks the onion rings old and over fried the burger was all wrong she put everything i said not to put on the burger the chicken sandwiches so dry and my wife started feeling sick she couldn't keep it down we will not be coming back and i will not recommend family and friends to come...

This has been a hidden gem of Pasadena for years. I can remember coming here with my parents when I was a kid. Its a small establishment with a very large menu. Its nothing like Danton's, Peska or Reef but you should already know that going in since you're not paying $30+ a plate. A good review would be based on multiple visits and multiple courses tried so I will only review my experiences. Value-Amazing! 3 very large pieces of fish, 6 large shrimp, 1 slice of buttered toast and fries. All for $8 and it feeds two. Taste-i like the light but crunchy cornmeal breading. It could be seasoned more but nothing lemon won't fix. Tasty shrimp, crunchy fries. Service- quick, no frills, in and out. Local mom and pop look and feel, not too busy weeknights, huge portions and lots to choose from. Highly recommended. Ignore that guys 1 star review, he thinks "Chipotle" is real...

One of the worst fried fish places I've ever eaten at. If you believe this is good food I feel sorry for you and you need to try other places, maybe even reevaluate your life. I've eaten here once before and didn't like it. I thought I'd give it another try and it was even worst. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo and both breading on them were quite horrid. I wasn't even given catfish like I ordered, tasted like a different kind. The fries were most definitely store bought frozen then deep fried. While you do get lots of food for the price, it's because not much of it is edible. Will never be...
