Today I seen a worker feed their entire family & then sit her down while the line was wrapped around the drive thru & lobby. I was ordering my food & noticed her sitting in the lobby in her uniform & then served her family like it was a Mexican restaurant she brought them drinks & a few trays of food never one time paying for any of it. By the looks of the whole family they been eating free on whataburger for a while. It took me 25 minutes to get my one combo with apple pie. I honestly don't blame the girl at the counter she took my order & even went looking for the order after noticing the long wait . But the entire wait I just kept watching this other worker going to the back & bringing out food to her family. That should be considered stealing. I asked for the manager her name is Ashley but she wasn't available. The other workers were working hard especially the male cook with dreds. He did look frustrated but after seeing the woman go to the back three times to fetch food I can understand his frustration. It was an entire family more than $100 in food was brought out to them . I took pictures to show how unfair that is to paying customers. Not just that there is no reason a uniformed worker should be ignoring a long line in the lobby. If that is the case & she is off work go the home! Don't watch your coworkers struggling and just sit there stuffing your face. It angered me for the other workers who are going in there & giving there all. This worker should be fired. Update* The whataburger location has gotten worse ! I had to get a fast breakfast this morning 06/29/23 and the service was garbage. The store didn't have gravy for the biscuits and gravy. The line in the drive thru was extremely slow and long. The lady in the microphone taking the order sounded like she was eating. She had a hard time communicating over the microphone. This location continues to deteriorate and the workers are the reason. Not one time has anyone from management reach out or try to correct this awful service. 45 minutes in the drive thru is not considered fast food. Even at...
Read moreI will never go to this Whataburger again. I purchased the fish dinner and purchased an extra piece of fish. Got home and realized only two pieces made it in the box. After calling I was told I needed to come back up there. Mind you it's almost 11pm. When I arrive the cashier whom I spoke with ignored me for about 10 minutes. After she took ppls orders who arrived after I did she then turned to me and said they said they gave you the extra piece of fish. I proceeded to tell her that I am not hard up for food like that. Why would I lie about one piece of fish at 11pm and waste my time to come back there. I then told her at this point I want fresh food because it is all cold and I then asked to speak with the manager. One of the managers Ricky came up and barely acknowledged me or the issue. He took the box and went to the back. As he was coming back up he boxed my food and put in a few cookies as if that was going to satisfy the issue or their lack of customer service skills on top of other things. When I got home all of the food was cold except for that one piece of fish they claimed was in the box earlier. They don't have to worry about me coming back there and I will be calling customer service in...
