Wings 18 _Houston — Restaurant in Houston

This was my first time I was driving down Yale street I wanted wings but didn't want "wingstop" today I passed up the place then stopped down the street and order off my doordash app, I'm going to be truthful not hurtful the parking is limited " this is where Esther's first restaurant was located, I entered the place two ladies were watching the Texans game the other guys were outside I was at the encounter waiting so I had a chance to view and look around the back counter area needs work equipment, floors you can tell that equipment was removed from the last business that was there the tables were not cleaned needed to be wiped down from earlier customers booths on the wall by checkout had food crumbs . The guy came in from outside was very polite and friendly went to check on my order. There was a Spanish/ puerto rican guy in sweat pants came in was on his phone went to the back not sure if he was and employee or owner he came out the back with his hand in his sweats scratching his butt . There was a strong smell of special cigarettes I won't say the word but come on guys if you want a great business step it up don't be a one hit wonder. The wings were hot and went I arrived home they were fresh good flavor and I will say they were out of one of the flavors I selected but I got a call asking me to select another one. I hope this helps and not hurts because black business needs to grow in Houston and in the community with all the new homes they are building in the area this could be a gold mind so...

Chill atmosphere mid-afternoon a weekday with the BEST WINGS at reasonable prices and kind service. Found my place by accident and googled to see rave reviews. This is 5 Star for sure. I’ve been missing out! So close to casa as well! Had the dry rub garlic parmesan and hot cajun as advised. Came with fresh fries cooked to my request and a surprise roll. Preferred the dry rub over non spiced but beautiful wings served with a variety of dips option and they were perfect snd good sized. Had more of the drums than wing pieces. Buddy preferred the Clean Wings with dips. Crunchy outside and moist inside. Don’t tell everyone as parking is limited but is just right for the seats available. Popped in here this past weekend to try the wings for the first time. I ordered the 12 piece with half buffalo rain and was also recommended the spicy garlic parmesan. Both flavors were really good although neither were particularly spicy. It was a good mix of drums and flats. The drums didn't clean up great, but the flats were able to be picked pretty clean. They also offered both ranch and blue cheese.

Still, the wings had really good flavor and were pretty well sized. I would definitely go back to try some other flavors. The service was really good and all of the employees I dealt with were very friendly. The vibe of the place was also pretty solid and they had some music and football games going on...
