Yummy Kitchen offers a mix of Chinese and seafood options, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
Let's start with the positives: Kung Pao Chicken: This dish was generally good, with a notable highlight being the use of fresh peanuts. I appreciate this detail, as many restaurants skip peanuts altogether or use inferior ones. The chicken itself was cooked well. And had a good mix of Veggies. My only disappointment was the lack of spice. The menu indicated it would be spicy, but it was quite mild. Had it delivered on the promised heat, it would have been a solid 10. Egg Rolls: These were a pleasant surprise! They were generously sized, fresh, and exceptionally tasty. You can't go wrong ordering these.
Now, for the areas that need improvement: General Tso's Chicken: Unfortunately, this dish was a significant letdown. The sauce had an off-putting flavor, described as an odd combination of sour and sweet, and it definitely didn't resemble a traditional General Tso's sauce. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the sauce was so unpalatable that I had to eat most of it without it. Additionally, this dish was also listed as spicy on the menu, but it was not spicy at all. I would not recommend this dish and will not order it again.
Overall: Yummy Kitchen has some promising aspects, particularly the fresh ingredients in the Kung Pao Chicken and the excellent egg rolls. However, the General Tso's Chicken needs a complete overhaul. And the resturant needs to be accurate with its spice level description...
Read moreI want to like this place, but the breaded chicken for any entree is horrible because it gets soggy real bad. Fried rice is great, cheese wontons great, and the rib tips are disgusting. I felt like i was over charged because he kept wanting to add more to my tab. I feel like business for them are slow. So, watch out for them to add more to your tab.
Response to Owner: My review is based on different entities that was purchased. I could of said everything was not good due to that ONE matter. However, you should take accountability to your persuasion towards customers to keep adding more to your business when it was brought to your attention there's a budget. Secondly, i was being constructive about everything else being delightful. i just didn't like the manipulation on cost and its true about my experience. Just because a business is buying to sell, doesn't mean they have integrity. So watch how you treat your customers. Also, from the looks of the reviews (the bad ones), you come off highly confrontational and combative. It's ok to share experiences of the highs and lows. There will be days you will have low points. Take the L and improve. That's what reviews are for. This is NOT personal. It's a customer's experience to YOUR business. And THAT'S determined based on how YOUR day is going. I can understand your response, if you had of offered an alternate option, but look how you coming...No one saying you're a bad establishment. But with this type of mentality, it just may...
Read moreSo i have been ordering from this location for awhile and every time I order the portions become smaller and smaller thats terrible business(while the price increases) . Also the delivery driver did not even get out of his vehicle when he delivered my order last time I tip 4 to 5 dollars everytime mind you there less then two miles away from me also I believe they create there own price when you call them and don't follow there menu items price. Sometimes the rice is stale or taste like it was dirty. The portions wildly vary on who answers the phone. Sadly I spent a few hundred dollars there and I had to learn a hard lesson this establishment isn't for me. Just not worth the price and not worth the lack of common respect. The food was ok sometimes it was very good sometimes it was not good at all wasn't consistent. I would order from here multiple times a week. Last time was my last time ordering from here. Please in the future care more for your customers have some respect for people....
