American Legion — Restaurant in Howard Lake

Not extremely busy, during the day. The bartenders were both kind of distracted and not communicating well. They seemed sort of inexperienced with younger people and not really helpful with suggestions for a newbie. The only good thing about our visit was that the lady bartender only charged us for one margarita, when she made too much for one glass. Other than that, if I have a choice, I will definitely visit Troubles (two blocks away) instead of here. Not a fantastic experience.

I think for veterans, or people who are more well versed in their tastes in liquor, the legion is a great place to go, it just...

My husband got nachos and a beer and I got the taco salad and a beer food is ok what irritated my husband and I the most is she told the specials to the table next to us but we didn't have that option I also would have liked more sour cream and salsa but she never came back till she brought the bill. Of course I still leave a decent tip because that's just me but a little improvement could make her a lot more as people don't see the waitress world as me I've come from experience and today's working world...

I just want to say a huge Thank you to your staff! We just had my brother in laws celebration of life at your facility. I am in awe! You are the best! I saw your staff several times checking in on my sister, as well as the rest of us, the food was wonderful, the color guard was so kind and did a great job, special thanks to the Patriot Guard for being there. You took a difficult time and helped make the day memorable for all of us. I can’t thank you enough!...
