So. I just spent at least 10 minutes in a drive through line. I had a decent sized order as I had a few people to feed. My order was 3 junior cheeseburgers - add cheese sauce, 2 crispy chicken sandwiches - add cheese sauce, and a #2 -add extra cheese sauce with a large fry and a medium frosty with ranch for the fries. Now, I used to work at Wendy's so I know how things are meant to be done.
Okay where to begin? The 3 cheeseburgers and 2 crispy chicken sandwiches had about as much cheese sauce on them all together as one would expect on just one sandwich. And this miniscule amount of cheese sauce wasn't really on the sandwich, just more so dripped on the edge of the bun. 2 of the junior cheeseburgers didn't even have onions on them, and the 1 that did had onions so blatantly old and left out that my girlfriend nearly choked on them.
My double that was supposed to have EXTRA cheese sauce had about half a serving of cheese sauce on it. The 2 meat patties were so old and dry that by looks they could've passed as saugage, and by tastes they could've passed as shoe leather. Half of the top bun was smashed to the approximate thickness of a pancake. And the vegetables were definitely far past expired.
And the fries? Literally one of the hardest things to mess up? Well. I'd have to say those were messed up the most. There was a long hair weaved between three of the fries in such a way that they were seemingly stuck together. And while you're thinking how does this get any worse, let me tell you that these hairy fries were not only soggy and cold, but they also did not have any salt on them. And on top of ALL that, the ranch I ordered for these fries? Yeah, I got 1 ranch packet. 1 mesely ranch pack to dip an entire large fry in? Yeah, it's a good thing I found that hair rendering the rest of the fries inedible so I didn't have to worry about having too little ranch.
This Wendy's is on d-19 in Howell, Michigan and has just plain and simple gone downhill over the years. I sure am glad I spent 16 bucks and a penny and an embarrassing amount of time on a quite dissapointing dinner. And I don't even want to know why my receipt...
Read moreNormally this location is on point with zero mistakes. Though every now and again, we can get thrown off our “A Game” and have an off day. My son and I came through the drive-thru on 12/19/23 in the evening to grab him a quick dinner. I ordered a large lemonade for myself, which tasted great. My son wanted a number one triple Dave Classic, a large fry, and a large strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade and French fries were fantastic, but the burger itself was wrong. We didn’t notice the issue until we drove all the way home. I grabbed my receipt, called them up, and kindly explained what happened. The manager Collin was apologetic and accepted responsibility for their mistake right away. He offered to make it right and put my name in the book for a future day to get the correct burger I paid for on my son’s behalf. A few days later we stopped in to get his burger and he absolutely enjoyed every bite of it. The inside and outside of this place is clean and well maintained, unlike many other fast food restaurants I have visited in the past. The drive-thru itself is very quick and the wait time is not long at all. Many of the employees here are friendly, cheerful, respectful, and have no issues going above and beyond to make sure you receive great...
Read moreThis location is absolutely HORRIBLE. Not only is the service extremely extremely slow, I mean you’re waiting in line for 20 plus minutes, but you spend all that time waiting in line to not only not receive the sandwiches you ordered, (multiple times I have gotten the wrong burger from this location, first time I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt) but if I have to wait that long for fast food, you can at least get my two burgers correct. Not only that, but the people that work there are absolutely the rudest people I have ever had to encounter. And I have never seen anyone in the back with a hair net or gloves on. Safe to say I will be driving the extra time for the Pinckney or the Brighton Wendy’s. Never again the howell Wendy’s. Such a shame cause it is very close and convenient. If I need food from that side of town, I will be taking my business across the street...
