The Bar Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Hudson

The Bar is a fine establishment in Hudson NH. My friend Preet and I discovered this place during Covid while skipping work to go day drinking one day.

I enjoyed sitting out back smoking and drinking. It was during the fall, so the weather was perfect.

I ended up losing my keys on the couch I was sitting on, but we left for Chinese food, and since I couldn't find my keys, my friend brought me home. I didn't know where I had lost my keys.

Everyone here is very nice. The drinks are reasonably priced. There is food, and it is a relaxed atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean which is always a good sign.

I brought my daughter here for her 21st birthday and she liked it so much that she also continued to visit the Bar. She even won prizes during a raffle. She won cleaning supplies and gave them to me for which I was grateful.

About my lost keys... my friend dropped me off at my house at about 5 pm. At 10 pm, I had someone give me a ride back to the Bar to check to see if my keys were there. As soon as I walked in, they all immediately remembered me and handed me my keys.

This was a savior during hockey season as the dads could go grab a quick drink and some bar food while we waited for practices to get over. It became a weekly tradition and we were recognized immediately within just a second visit. Great service and extremely friendly. Live music on the weekend and they offer a bunch of different specials during the week including both drinks and food. Ladies night is on Thursday and ofncourse taco Tuesday is a thing. All prices are cheap and it's good for a quick bite. The quality of food is what you would expect but a few items will definitely wow you!! Best tater tots i have ever had! The place was cute and it is a hang out for locals everyone knew each other which can be intimidating but the bar tender was great people seemed nice. Went at 2pm on a Saturday the only bad part was the kitchen. We only ordered nacho's and it took 50 minutes to get them and the chips were good but when we got them the cheese was hard and they do not use salsa just chucks of onions and tomatoes.
