A friend and I visited this place today because she had taste for ice cream. While there we decided to have lunch as well. The young lady who took the order was totally not paying attention. My friend ordered a #2 triple burger, and fries. I ordered a 3pc chicken strip with onion rings that included a Sundae. The cashier says the ice cream came in chocolate, strawberry, fudge,and vanilla, I chose the chocolate.
Our order was a complete disaster: My friend ended up with a #1(a double burger with cheese and lettuce). The order was for #2 (triple burger) with fries. The food was cold and hard.
My order was for chicken strips, onion rings, and this included a Sundae, that wss definitely specified chocolate and don't add any toppings due to health issues I can not tolerate.
The cashier repeats the order back to me. I says I will get Sundae I finish my meal. I end up with a cup of vanilla ice cream and a bunch of chocolate syrup hard chicken tenders and cold onions.
Because I was very clear about chocolate and NO nothing in it or on it. Never did the cashier state to me this is how the Sundae is prepared.
I was informed I would have to complain to the owner because to get a refund for the Sundae was impossible because it was included in the meal. The complaint was lodged with the owner, his statements were: the cashier has only been there a year and probably didn't know the only ice cream sold there is vanilla and toppings are added with a flavored syrup. Chocolate, fudge, or strawberry. The meal is discounted to include the Sundae. He gave a .81 refund for the Sundae. I have a problem with businesses making excuses for the errors of the employees. A year and she doesn't have a clue what's on the menu? Informing customers that they can complete an order without listening to the customer because they assume they know what you.

Read moreIf you're going to go, just do your order in person or through the drive-thru. The app process has become a joke for indoor pickup. Even drive through pickup is becoming a mess. Twice in one month I went and was in the Drive-Thru so long I opted to go in to pick up my order which they then claimed they could not find resulting in another 15 to 30 minute wait. The screen had my order. They showed me the screen had my order. Yet somehow between the nearly 10 of them in the restaurant, it took almost the entire staff to figure out where my orders were. It's not rocket science, it's Dairy Queen. The food quality is excellent... When you finally receive it. Service could use work. I offer my thanks to the few employees who actually tried to help me before I could become so fed up that I had to ask for a refund and finally received my food. It would have been a one-star review if it wasn't for the two employees who actually gave a care enough to help. The previously noted issues with portion size and ingredient omissions have been thoroughly addressed.
The team at this Dairy Queen has evidently taken customer feedback to heart, ensuring that each visit now results in a perfectly prepared Blizzard, complete with the signature Marshmallow Cream and topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
