Dimaggio's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Huntersville

Pizza tastes exactly like cardboard box. I assume it’s because they throw piping hot pizza directly into the box with nothing between the box and the pizza. Gave this place three chances in a span of 6 months. Every time pizza tasted like cardboard box. ALSO -this place automatically tip themselves and you can’t see anything on the screen in front of you while inserting your card, they just guide you what buttons you have to press. ALSO - they add extra fees for paying with card. This place is penny pinching and takes money from consumers through tipping themselves. ALSO - last order placed with them over the phone, asked if there were any specials and was told that there were no specials, upon arrival for pickup, large ground sign in from of the door had 2 pizza special deal for $25. Paid $40 for a personal pizza and 10 wings with all involuntary fees collected by...

I have a family of 6, so we order a lot of pizza. Tonight I decided to go with a local place and spent nearly $60 on 2 pizzas and some wings from Dimaggios.. which turned out to be a mistake. First off, I wasn’t told the wings automatically came with buffalo sauce, I wasn’t even given the option.. so half my family didn’t get any wings. Also, I ordered pepperoni, sausage, & mushroom on one of the pies.. we hardly got any sausage and the pizza had absolutely no mushrooms.. but I was still charged for it. I called to very nicely inform them of the situation, to which I was given the reply “Oh. Sorry.” Any other pizza place would’ve offered to give me some kind of credit or at the very least attempted to deliver the pizza I had actually ordered and paid for right away. Looks like I’ll be going back to the big pizza...

I ordered online and then drove to pick up the order. I am pretty disappointed with DiMaggio's. I ordered a pizza half cheese and half with toppings. The toppings went well over half of the pizza and they cut it really weird. There were a couple of giant slices and then a bunch of tiny slices. I also ordered an antipasto salad. They did not give me any dressing and I do not have any at home so it is really upsetting.

Update My son took the food back last night. Greg from DiMaggio's called me today and apologized and had already refunded the entire bill. He also offered another pizza and I was very appreciative of the effort to make things right. We will try them one more time and leave...
