While playing in the Strikers Invitational, during a game the ref on the field failed to control the play of the game. The "ref" is an employee of Strikers. During his failure to control the game a situation among 18 year old boys escalated and a fight broke out. the ref had been asked repeatedly to get control of the game. The opposing team with both fist punched our player in the back of the head, our player retaliated. The coach for our team immediately took to the field, grabbed our boys and removed them from the field. While walking off the other team San Rafael continues to pursue our team, yell and cuss, while the "coach" is standing with them and did not call for his team to stop. This is a very poor representation of this club, and the ethics and conduct in which they promote. When the ref walked off the field he was approached about the situation and the response was "you should go talk to the parents about there conduct, you know the people who raised them." I feel it important to also mention that during this game (the second game of the day) the San Rafael team had not even turned in the necessary forms and requirements to play on the Strikers field. A player (not coach) took the blank form from his bag, borrowed a pen from the ref, and filled it out during the second half of the second game. This form is a medical waiver and requires a parents signature, none of which actually signed it. This morning we received an Email from Andrew, that our player because of his conduct was not allowed to play in the next game. The ref was very choosy with with he decided to report. Our coach called Andrew, who is rude and arrogant, to inform him of the entirety of the situation. Our coach was not disputing the punishment of our player and fully agrees with him not playing but also asked for equal punishment of the player from the opposing team. He also asked that the other team be disqualified, for failure to follow the policy and procedure of Strikers. Andrews comment to the blatant disregard to his own policy was "well, it's turned in now." I won't speak to everyone there, but Andrew is clearly not trained on customer service, or how this game is to be handled. It seems that depending on who you are depends on if you get a free pass to follow the rules that he puts in place, and further more teaches the lesson that if there is no repercussions for not following the rules, then why ever...
Read moreThe owner won’t care that I’m leaving a one star review, but people looking into this program should know that the only thing important to this facility is money…. Due to the owners actions tonight, I will no longer be signing my children up for this program, nor will I be playing in their adult co-ed league either.
We all pay to be apart of the leagues that the facility offers, and the facility hosts “pick up games” toward the end of the night. Our Referee showed up 7-10 minutes late for our game, resulting in the game going over in time by 7ish minutes. No big deal right? Well the pick up game that payed to play after us rushed the field with their group, not dressed, no other team joining yet, just told us to get off, “We payed for the field and it’s our turn.” like a bunch of children. And I can roll my eyes at that, until they start swearing at us in front of our kids. Not only was it unnecessary, but completely avoidable. The referee is a teenager and these men are making threats against us playing, but the owner at the front desk is no where to be found?!
When we asked the owner what will be done about this, he literally said “I don’t know what country you come from or what you have going on in your life, but this is the world we live in. Go get yourself some wine and think it over tomorrow.” Like, what sort of response is that for the OWNER of the facility when there are people literally THREATENING us…over 7ish minutes of play?! There’s a ton you could have done. 1)denied the group to play that evening after not following basic code of conduct. 2) refunded their money and say get out of here, never come back. 3) allowed the playing team an extra 7 minutes of uninterrupted play to make up for the disruption. (Did I mention this was a game against the 1st and 2nd placed team? We’re 35 for God’s sakes and this is THE MOST exciting thing going on in our week…like, let us have this one thing!!)
Anyways, don’t give this guy your money! We’ll be going to Charlotte Independence for our co-ed league, and our kids soccer from now on. This organization has no interest in taking care of...

When the season started, it was raining so badly that Strikers has to cancel practices and games. After the second cancellation, I contacted Strikers via Facebook messenger and asked for a refund. I let them know that we are new to soccer and to their Center and didn't know that the Spring session would be like this. They read the message and didn't respond. I had to let them know that you can see when someone reads the message on Messenger. They later responded and told me to call the center, but most likely I wouldn't get a refund. So I called Strikers and spoke to whoeverw was in charge. The conversation was going well until I mentioned a refund. As soon as I said we wanted a refund because we didn't want to play anymore due to the weather cancellations, I was hung up on. I called back several time and was hung up on. Then my calls just went to the voicemail. So I called from my husband's phone, and the same guy picked up. He then suggested that I emailed them about my issue. So I sent an email that same day. Two days later I received a response from Ross telling me that the season had been extended and they were having makeup practices on Sundays. He also stated that ” If everyone asked for a refund and Strikers gave it to them there wouldn't be a league. I emailed Ross back and reminded him that I had also asked if our to payment could go towards playing next season. I also informed him that due to our beliefs we can not attend practices on Sundays and also the makeup games cut into our scheduled vacation time. Therefore we wouldn't be able to attend because we previously madep plans basedb on when Soccer would end. Ross has yet to respond to my email, and no one will answer the phone at Strikers. I've left two messages. Let's see if they...
