2 snippy RUDE waitresses are just ruining the whole atmosphere of what used to be our favorite place to eat in Huntingdon, Tn. We are from Texas we always come to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. We were warned of both a decline in service and food quality by several of the locals when we tried to invite them to breakfast there. We payed no mind. It was really a shock to find such bad behavior in this little mom & pop diner. We ordered, but the waitress was so rude to us (3 senior citizens ranging in age from 65 to 82 yrs. old). I stopped in at AJ’s by chance while on a wandering road trip after church on a Sunday morning.

This place was great! The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. Service was polite and very fast. I almost felt like I was intruding because most folks were clearly regulars and knew each other – which added to the charm!

I had the pork tenderloin breakfast, and it was delicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked as was everything else. The coffee was great as well.

The staff went above and beyond preparing breakfast. The waitress came back and informed me the cook was unable to prepare my poached eggs, but with a little team work from the kitchen, she brought me out two of the nicest looking poached eggs I had seen from a restaurant.
