Del Taco — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Worst Del Taco. Don’t know what happened here. They used to have the nicest staff and food was good. The staff that was working on late Saturday 08/19/23. They didn’t give us all our order and charged us for it the girl was rude and accused the door dash person for stealing our food. She was an idiot. On top of that I think they messed with the food, the bean & cheese burrito tasted horrible, bitter taste in the beans and they ran out of sour cream, weird!!! Fries were all day old fries as well. Get new night staff and people that are not rude. Magnolia/Atlanta much better and nicer. Best Del Taco is in Barstow and Baker! They fill their tacos like the old days, this Del taco rations there meat, lucky if there’s a teaspoon of meat in the taco and there’s only 1 chunk of a tomato on top of the Del Taco, learn how to make peoples orders, all the pics and advertisement looks nothing like what you get,...

I had the most frustrating drive-thru experience. It was, 3:30ish on Original Taco Tuesday. I was fith in line and it took 30 minutes from the time I ordered to to get to the pick-up window. Once I got there the window attendant told me he couldn't break my $100 and he turned me away with nothing, but an "I'm sorry". I said I had a $100 dollar bill and $1 bill. I asked why it took 30 minutes? And he said they were short staffed. That's why they had a "NOW HIRING BANNER." hung out front. I asked to speak to the manager and he said, "i'm sorry, there is no manager." I asked, after making me wait 30 minutes you are sending me away with nothing? And again all he said was, "I'm sorry." No wonder they can't keep staff, if they are so I'll prepared for the busiest time of day. This is the store owner's problem and I felt sorry for the young man at the window, because he was so I'll equipped to handle...

Now this is how fast food should be served whether it is empty or crowded the employees there have great energy even while working fast under pressure not only do they serve your food in a timely manner but they genuinely seem happy to see you coming in and not just because of the money I think whoever has done the hiring has done in excellent job of hiring good people who just happen to be good employees you can look in the back and see how neat and orderly they are even while preparing many orders at once and they always work as a team and I have never had to wait longer than 2 minutes for someone to at least acknowledge me and this is not always the case when you go to fast food places so I definitely would recommend...
