Komeya is truly a hidden gem! I loved everything I've tried from here. A new Japanese restaurant in Huntington Beach next to Trader Joe’s?! Amazing. The sushi is very high quality and you can tell that all the food is made with care.

It’s mainly a takeout place but there are a few tables inside and outside. The wait was not long and the service was great!

Quality to cost ratio is great. The fish is very fresh, fatty, and soft. The workers are very polite and kind as well. I would definitely give it a shot if exploring the area. I personally ordered Sushi combo B, Unagi roll, and the California (all are good choices). The unagi blew me away for the price, it’s hard to find unless traveling to a high end spot
