Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

For the first time I came in for breakfast at this location. The place was empty, not that it's any better for lunch either.

I ordered the Loaded Breakfast Combo. The order came out really fast, which made me very apprehensive. Well my worry came to fruition, the hash brown that came with my order was not fresh. It was soggy and lukewarm. Since I already took a bite, and not to ruin my morning by arguing, I just finished it.

Next was my Loaded Breakfast, I took a bite and immediately tasted American "Cheese" on top of seems to be sitting on a warmer eggs and sausage patty. You can taste the grease since it was not fresh. The "cheese" was barely melted. I took it back to the counter and informed the person in front that I asked for "no cheese" when I ordered. He said no, I only asked for soda instead of coffee. I know for a fact I said "no cheese" right after I said "Number 24, Loaded Breakfast Combo, No Cheese." The substitutions for soda came after. Instead of arguing, because it was going there, and ruining the rest of my day, I said "it's ok, thanks" and I threw the bread with cheese in the trash. Mind you there was no apologies or trying to make it right, I guess I'm the customer and I'm always wrong.

The bathroom was clean though which I had to use because of the American "fake" cheese, could be...

Okay this is another Jack in the Box where the employees have a really good sense of humor and seem to enjoy themselves and it's weird I just thought of that but they must be doing something different than other fast food places as far as picking employees with the sense of humor because I know Jack probably doesn't treat them that well. (Jealous of sense of humor)Another thing I've noticed about Jack in the Box is they can have a real taste and quality variation this one is the best Jack in the Box and you'll never hear me say this is the best McDonald's because McDonald's is always consistent that's not taking away from Jack In The Box it may be that some of the restaurants somehow make it over 25% better. I know there's some of you that are saying that makes no sense but I know there are some of you that are going yeah he's right and that's weird about Jack 5 Box. So anyway food was really good and I like the retro signage I got pictures of the sign and then a close-up picture of a clown that doesn't scare me and it's not Jack so anyway I highly recommend this one and I haven't haven't eaten at the Jack In The Box that I won't recommend yet but I know...

So we rolled up to the Jack in the Box at the Brookfield Promenade on Brookhurst, and let me tell you, it was everything I expected. I grabbed the Ultimate Cheeseburger because, well, it's in the name, and it did not disappoint..super cheesy and exactly what you need after a long day of absolutely nothing. My girlfriend got a chicken sandwich, and I threw in some tacos for good measure (because obviously, it’s Jack in the Box, and tacos are a must).

Now, I’m not saying this place will change your life, but if you’re in the mood for something to satisfy that “I need something greasy right now” vibe, this is your spot. Jack never lets you down when the munchies hit

Solid food, quick and friendly service from the gentleman at the counter and let's be honest if you're at Jack in the Box, you're not here for a Michelin star meal. You're here for that glorious combo of cheese, meat, and "I don’t want to think about my diet right now."
