TERRIBLE!!!

Oh, man. This place was the worst sushi place I have ever been to - mainly due to the management. The food was barly tolerable with one BIG exception I will explain later. We had a gift certificate to this place and we went on a Friday night. The manager said we couldn't use the gift certificate that night and blamed the promotion company for not putting on the cert that you couldn't use it on weekends. We were there, the cert said nothing about not being able to come on a weekend and the place wasn't even half full. We argued with the owner, but in his world the customer isn't right. So we decided to give it another shot - came back on a non-weekend night. Gave them the certificate and for the rest of the night we were treated like crap. They wouldn't even come back and refill our water. To top it off - the Avocados on the Caterpillar Roll were BROWN!!!!??? What is that? At least hide it inside a roll where you can't see it. On top? Out in the open? It makes me wonder what kind of corners they cut on the stuff that goes inside. I'm surprised none of us got sick.

Poor management and Sub-par food

Four stars only because of the Sushi chef. I realize that different cultures interact with people differently, but Yoshi is not very welcoming at ALL. He never greets us at the sushi bar, he always responds as though he is being inconvenienced, he makes u move your seat at the bar to accommodate seating but literally says, "move over" even if there is no on else there. He does not make any exceptions or adjustments to food, and he just does not make the people I bring feel welcome. His tone when he does speak comes across as if he's irritated, it never fails and I have visited at least 20 times, always hoping he may have a better day but to no avail. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! I recommend the stinky roll, especially if you like garlic, it is simply delicious and one of a kind. If you like good, fresh and quality of food you may look somewhere else because here you won’t find it. Last week I ordered teriyaki chicken, when I got home I noticed the chicken is plain with no sauce on it, they cooked it with no sauce at all, then I noticed they gave me teriyaki on the side, like I was supposed to cook it recently and add The sauce.

I drove back there to show them no sauce and the guy in the kitchen start yelling at me saying this how their way to make it and if I don’t like it I can get the money back, then I told him I don’t want my money back and al I want is a good food. They he started talking in Japanese to his co worker taking bad about me.
