This small Thai food restaurant was empty when we walked in, however, they did have a few to go orders. The service here was great! The gentleman there seem to really have a passion for working there and was excited to talk about the items on the menu if we had questions. He was very attentive and informative. The boat noodle soup was very flavorful, however it was a little spicy for my husband. It was in a large bowl, however it was a lot of broth. The yellow curry called California curry, was missing the coconut flavor, however it still was decently tasty. I asked for a one on heat level, but could not taste any spice. I asked for no onions and carrots on the side. They obliged and were able to give me a side of steamed carrots so I could give those to my husband to eat. The avocado and cream cheese puffs were amazing. I love the flavor combination of the avocado and cream cheese. The dipping sauce was decent, however it needed a little bit of heat, in my opinion. The Thai tea was flavorful and the iced tea was good. We will definitely return here. They also have crispy pork, but it is not yet on the menu. So you can definitely ask for that! I can't wait to try that. I just hope the side of crispy pork is decently priced. Most places charge 20 bucks for a plate of crispy pork, when all I want is a few bits and maybe pay less than $10. Can't...
Read moreMy daughter and I were delighted that a Thai restaurant opened in our community. We read the online review first, mostly positive. So, we decided to give the restaurant a try. We walked in at 5:00 and the restaurant was empty. My daughter and I looked over the menu and ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp and Chicken Teriyaki with vegetable. 29.00 dollars and five minutes later we receive our take out order. At home, we open the containers, and the portions look the size of a Jenny Craig meal. I had asked the manager if the Pad Thai was enough for two people and he said, yes. Even with soy sauce, the Pad Thai was tasteless. My daughter and I could not even finish our small portions. The Chicken Teriyaki produced an unpleasant odor in our kitchen, so we passed on that dish too. I am a fan of Thai food, and I enjoy the Thai food from Diho Siam near our home. I would love to support local business, especially restaurants but I will not be dining at...
Read moreWe ordered take out, and got a free chicken skewers as a first timer for ordering over $25. We ordered the tum yum soup, pineapple fried rice, and papaya salad.
The tum yum is atrocious. There's pepper flakes free floating and not a lot of tum yum/fish sauce flavor. The papaya salad flavor is almost but quite there, but there's not much crunch to the dish and it doesn't have the tinge of sweetness that fresh papaya has. The pineapple fried rice looks nice but flavor-wise is nothing to write home about. The meats are the only thing done moderately well both in texture and in taste.
Not a place I'd recommend for Thai food. Service was decent but you're not just going there for...
