Birria El Abuelo — Restaurant in Huntington Park

STAY AWAY from this restaurant!! I order two quesatacos, and two Ramen birria through uber eats. I canceled the order right away (LESS THAN A MINUTE), called uber eats because they will still charging me more than $38 and they told me that they couldn’t give me a refund because the restaurant didn’t want to give me a refund because “my order was already prepared” when I canceled the order in less than a minute. Not even a fast food restaurants would give you an order that fast, meaning that the food is not prepared fresh and was sitting there for God knows how long. Uber eats advised me to call the restaurant to talk to the manager or owner to get a refund, because its weird that an order would be prepared this quick and it was petty for the owner to charge me $38 for canceling the whole order. I called the restaurant, The manager lied saying that they always prepared the food fast, refusing to give me a refund of food that I wouldn’t receive. Decided to call my bank to dispute the transaction. The manager or owner had the audacity to called me again (yes called me again on my personal phone) just to say that it doesn’t matter if I called my bank that he would still get money from uber to do what I want. Its insane to me how can people take advantage of others, if your restaurant is slow and have not costumers and your trying to make money by stealing peoples money shame on you! Very delicious spot!, driving up, it can be slightly difficult to find street parking.. very nice food truck, with outstanding customer service, service was super fast! I was honestly very surprised how fast I got my order with moderate amount of people ahead of me. I got Both the Torta and the Grilled cheese sandwich! .. let me tell you, the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with birria.. look at the cheese, they don't shy away putting cheese! It looks absolutely amazing. They do use different buns for the torta and Grilled cheese. The meat itself was very soft, very tasteful.. I was extremely satisfied! I visited LA to check out the food scene recently. Initially, I was supposed to go to a birria truck in the Sherman Oaks area to find out it was extremely far from where I was staying.
