Five of us stopped by here on our way home from Two EEs winery. Between us we had three appetizers, Fried Mac and Gouda, House Skins and Feisty (I think it is misspelled on the website) Feta Dip. All were good but not great. To drink, I had a very good Bloody Mary. Not too strong and great flavor. For dinner, I ordered the Ribeye with a side Caesar and Lager Rings. Even though the Caesar was pretty good, it was rather small, even for a side salad. Things started to turn around once the Ribeye and Lager Rings arrived. I ordered by Ribeye medium and it arrived very rare. Not still bleeding rare but recently deceased rare. I was tempted to send it back for a re-fire but after tasting how good it was I decided not to. It had a great char and was well seasoned. I had no need for any stake sauce! The Lager Rings were some of the best I have had in a long time. And even though the food did seem to take longer than it should have to arrive, Sara, our server, was exceptional. She was friendly and very attentive. It is her level of service that made this 3 star review a 4 star review. Overall, everyone said their meals were very good. On the website it states it is an "upscale" gastropub. I feel this is a bit misleading. Walking in you are first met with the musty smell the comes from the building being so old and even a cursory glance around the room will instantly reveal this is a local gem with great character but not an "upscale" establishment. That being said, it does not take away from the overall positive experience and if we are in the area again we would not...

OMG NEVER GO HERE! BARB the owner has absolutely zero experience in Guest Service which is exactly why her servers are the same way! I ordered a $15 Bacon Cheddar Burger. It came out w ZERO bacon. I brought it to the servers attention. I said, I don’t see any bacon here. She said, it’s mixed in w the cheese? I said, “where”? She said, “well you can’t see it but it’s in there”. So if u can’t see the bacon, is that a good recipe? Can u actually call it a Bacon Cheddar burger? I can get a $4 burger at Wendy’s and there is clearly bacon on it! The server said, “well, that’s how it is”! So I told her to just take it off and I wld leave. She was fine w that. Then I had to ask for a Mgr bc the server certainly wasn’t going to offer. The Mgr/owner came out, Barb and said, 3 oz of bacon is on there and that’s all u get! I asked her if she was ok w 2 guests leaving, never coming back and telling the whole world about the horrible experience, and she said yes! LMBO! What an idiot! Loosing 2 guests and how many more after reading our posts is worth a little more bacon? No wonder the owners have to work the place 7 days a week after 13 years! Penny wise and pound foolish! Oh, They use bacon bits and call it a Bacon...

I have had 1 steak (freshly butchered that day) in my life and I did not think I would ever have one to come close or top it. Well The Brick House Grill did. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy. The spices were perfect. I also ordered the Southern green beans with a side salad. Was the perfect meal. You can't go wrong here. Small and quaint place and for a Monday it was busy. To top it off my server Amber G (only waitress on hand and handled a couple at the bar) amazing. This is not exaggerating... She was so busy but handled every table perfectly. While listening she made sure to repeat items ordered, gave her opinion and suggestions on menu items. She gives the new meaning to courtesy, politeness, knowledge, organization and most of all being calm with all the tables (some coming in back to back and a small party).. It was company paid so I couldn't leave more than 20% and had no cash. I travel for my job and I have a few accounts in the area. I will be sure to stop in each time I am in town. Thank you so much for a great experience and food at...

We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night around 6pm. No wait, so seated promptly. There was only one server, and most of the tables were occupied, so it took a bit for her to get to us (we were in no hurry). We ordered drinks & the meal at the same time. Drinks arrived promptly, but it was a good 25 minutes for the food to arrive. The tenderloin was what my husband expected. He upgraded his side from fries to onion rings - they were perfect! He also added a side of the green beans… just like his mom made ♥️ The mahi was the perfect size, with a side of mushrooms and red mashed potatoes. Really nothing negative other than plan to be there an hour or more.

First time we have been here, and it won't be our last. Our server, Maddie was very attentive and knew the menu well. The menu was fairly extensive, with wonderful selections, that were reasonable priced. I had the ahi tuna with real wasabi and some macaroni and cheese and a side salad. Everything was very good and the tuna prepared perfectly. Glad we decided to try it out.
