Read moreIncredibly average Italian food. Both pizzas completely burnt around edge of crust yet sloppy in the middle. Manicotti crispy on top after it's trip under the salamander with very little sauce or cheese on top. Too hard to cut with a butter knife and eat out of a casserole dish... and very chewy. Life became easier because the portion was so small. Chicken parm swam in the deep fryer too long. Seemed like there was an international sauce shortage for all involved.
All of this absurdity would have never happened if my wife told me what she saw when I merely heard it. We were a four walking in at opening with two other deuces and a six-top this past Saturday. I turned after the "crash" to see a cook that seemed upset that he just dropped something. My wife had full eye contact as he glared, shook his head in disgust at the crowd walking in, and literally THREW a stack of plates on the counter. She didn't say anything to me because her parents had been waiting for dinner and she knew I would have turned and left, probably after words.
Trade out the snowflake that has no idea where his paycheck comes from for someone with passion before he ruins your biz. You open at 4:30 on Saturday, there may be a small crowd when the doors open. Besides the dude pouting from the kitchen, the rest of your staff (minus our waitress, who was very friendly and on top of things) had all the personality of airport security when we were walking through the door.
Highlight of the experience was the killer twist on a Caesar salad. I would drive back for that.
Good flavors. Poor execution. Staff needs some work. One person needs voted...
Read moreIf I could give a zero I would. DO NOT GO HERE WORST SERVICE AND WORST FOOD IVE HAD IN MY LIFE. And when I went back in after dropping them off they only gave me a refund for one thing and wasn't exactly polite about it went as far as going over to another customer and asking them and then pointing at me like i couldnt see. The service absolutely sucked I didn't get a single refill the food was placed down and we weren't even asked how it was they never came back to check on us. When it came time to pay I had to go to the bar to ask how to pay and was told to go sit down they will get someone and then was told they were sorry about it no one not once asked how the food was. And for 2 people bread sticks that was doey and food that was extremely dry it was 50 dollars it wasn't worth 5 it tasted like a 5 year old cooked it.
