The staff on duty was nice but the woman working gave me half of what she was giving everyone else. She even went as far as to put something on my bowl I didn’t want because she was confused without clarifying and she gave me a dirty look and packaged the bowl, as if I had just ruined her night when she literally gave the people before and after me 2x the meat and toppings. I don’t even know this person personally. (I realized it was less when I asked “is that persons bowl after me double meat?”) The manager came over and asked what was wrong and immediately corrected the issue by adding more chicken. (Really awesome guy, super nice and actually always gives correct portions every time) But the whole thing experience was uncomfortable and awkward. You spent 30 seconds making a bowl with half the portions and with wrong toppings, after I waited 10 mins because you were taking so long on the order before me. Do better, it’s not like I would’ve complained if you just gave the right portions or had a...
Read moreOk, I used to be a huge fan of Chipotle. I had a chance to try Qdoba. I walked several hundred feet from there to here, because Chipotle hasn't had my favs. I walked into the one, literally, on my way home and instantly felt comfortable. First of all, the folks were INCREDIBLY nice and polite. I told them it was my first time and they were very accommodating. So much so, I came back several days later. Guess what! Impeccable service. Food was just as good, or BETTER, than Chipotle. The atmosphere made me feel so comfortable. Welcomed. I went back about a week later. For the same price, I get the same or more food. With just a few times I already have enough points for free stuff! More choices of food, drinks, and desserts. Not to mention, the tea tasted GREAT at 1800!! I go after work, and tea is my favorite. So awesome to have fresh tea. Plus, people who look and feel like me - accepting and polite! I will be...
Read moreI was excited because I used to eat at Qdoba at the mall frequently. The ordering process took several minutes as the employees spent more time talking to each other than they did taking/making my order. Everyone seemed to be confused. Nobody was remotely friendly. The portions were tiny (pico only gets 3 pieces of diced tomatoes?). Birria was maybe 0.5 oz for a taco. I felt like I was bothering the employees by just being there and ordering something simple. Was a very uncomfortable experience ordering there. However, the food did taste good. Except for the Birria taco. I couldn't even taste the meat because there was...
