I ordered on the app. 3 donuts and two sandwiches. picked up the order and got home and noticed no donuts. Drove back to pick up my donuts, and they didn’t have one of the donuts i paid for. So i asked for a refund of that donut because we don’t want any other donut. the kid said i would have to call corporate and there’s nothing they can do about it. Then he found a donut in a random area , like an employee set it aside for themselves or something. got home and turns out the sandwiches were wrong. i ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel w strawberry cream cheese and a bacon/egg/cheese on a plain bagel. They put the CINNAMON RAISIN bagel on the bacon/egg/cheese sandwich !!! and the plain bagel w the strawberry cream cheese, which that one i can understand why it gets messed up. so i called and i was upset because i would have to drive back a third time, because they just can’t make a simple order. I wanted them to drive me our food because we were hungry and annoyed at this point. i really did not want to drive back a third time, who has that kind of gas money to just waste because there are incompetent employees? He said he would remake the order correctly and to pick it up. I sent my bf to get it because at this point, i could not drive again i was too upset . we finally got the correct order, but we did our order for a 9:40 pick up, and finally at 11 we got the correct order. They should’ve given us a refund because that was the worst service i’ve experienced ever. I will just avoid dunkin on the weekends and only order from the one in algonquin and square barn. They have great staff and when they have messed up, they were so understanding and helpful it was impossible to even be upset with them....
Read moreIf i could give 0 stars i would. I have never worked at a dirtier more disgusting and disgraceful dunkin. I just moved to Huntley and came from a very well trained dunkin the whole county wanted my manager to be the mayor. Rajs store in Buffalo grove. Everyone is a family there, I’ve memorized customers orders like our regulars and we always always welcome new people and try to memorize theirs too if they come enough.I got here and I was just shocked. I found a mosquito in the ice my first day I worked here. This Huntley place is awful and manager is horrible at running the store, no teamwork, they use old food that has been sitting there for hours and hours the coffee is gross, I was working at BG dunkin and we made food fresh, cold brew is supposed to be made fresh they make it at another store and bring it here, they only have 1 working oven so no wonder you never get your food fast, the place is always so dirty and smells everywhere. Leaking sink in the back it’s always slippery, so many health violations the inspector came in and only that day we had specialty donuts, only that day the store had to be spotless. Only that day we had to put things in certain spots so we don’t get complaints. I can vouch for everyone working this place and it needs to be shut down I mean it’s just disgusting. I heard from a coworker that the manager tips off the inspectors too. No lids ever on the refresher drinks and when I asked my coworkers why there are never tops they said because it’s faster but yet your supposed to shake them before pouring. DISGUSTING SO GROSS AND NASTY. That’s why i put my 2 weeks in. I tell my family not to eat or drink ANYTHING from here so I don’t think you...
Read moreI worked at this establishment for 3 non consecutive years, and might I say there were ups and downs. The management wasn’t the best at times. If you needed a day off at the last minute or even in advance, the next day that you were scheduled for you would get a text saying “you don’t work today” or you have day off”. That’s very frustrating especially if you get up at 3am to get ready for work and then get that message at 3am. So I’d basically wake up and get ready for no reason. Also the iced coffee and tea would be reused and stored in the fridge overnight if it wasn’t used last night. So if your coffee ever tasted nasty in the morning, it’s probably like 16hours old. If you want fresh coffee best time would be in the afternoon cause fresh coffee will have been brewed. Next, The employees are not allowed to accept tips anymore because the manager thinks that he should be able to keep the tips for the work that was done by the employees, while he sits in his office doing who knows what. The only time I ever saw the manager do any work is when we were short staffed. I do not recommend working here, I also don’t recommend drinking the iced coffee in the morning. Lastly, breaks. I never got any breaks and I’ve worked anywhere between 6 and 10 hour shifts. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. Also if you had to go to the bathroom more than like 2 times then the manager would get mad that you are going to much. But like I’m sorry that I’m working so much and staying hydrated that I need to pee… like what?!? So next time you apply or visit this dunkin or maybe any dunkin...
