I have waited to give a review because I wanted to give a fair review. Today though I just found the hostess lack of customer service baffling. Everyone is usually nice there and it was super busy because of Cinco de mayo. me and my husband walked up to the hostess stand and saw she was in the middle of seating which is fine. She walks back up literally says nothing won't even look at us to say hi ,kiss my butt ,nothing. You could tell she was ignoring us. So rude! We literally stood there for 15 min before even getting acknowledged and her acknowledgment was. "Are you on the list?" Like why would I be standing in front of you waiting on you if I was on the list? The server and manager were very nice.

So the reason for my 1 star. The food is disgusting. I have been here 4 times and have tried different entrees each time. The chicken and steak are bland. The ground beef honestly taste worse than taco bell's I got sick later on from it. Their chips are always burnt tasting. I will say their margaritas are great but there are just other restaurants that taste better.

Also no fault of their own I am sure but you can barely move around in the restaurant. If you are going to the bathroom and someone else is walking you have to stand to the side to...

Editing after our second try: We ordered 4 types of tacos (ground beef, grilled chicken, pastor, and steak), the tomatillo salsa, Chile Colorado sauce, and the pollo/steak con queso to try something different. The pork taco was the favorite! The grilled chicken was a lot better than the shredded chicken we previously tried. Both sauces were good, and it was nice that the Chile Colorado was milder than most. All the food was good and they also gave us a free queso for ordering online! Corralejos will definitely be added into our normal restaurant rotation!

Ordered take out to try the food since they opened recently and was pleasantly surprised! I would give 4.5/5 stars. The ground beef, enchilada sauce and rice were more flavorful than some of the other restaurants in the area. Only tried the enchiladas supremas, rice and beans, but we will definitely dine in and try some of the other menu items! Only complaint would be that the chicken was a little tough, but the...

The flour tortillas were very basic. Warmed up, not toasted at all. Likely out of a bag next door from Publix. The carnitas lacked any depth of flavor and texture. I typically like carnitas that are moist and tender but have a crispy outside. These were most but not much flavor, not much meat either. The rice was actually pretty good. The salsa for the chips was plain tomato sauce flavored and the chips themselves were not good quality. I asked for any hotter sauce they had and they brought out a small bowl which had the best and, once mixed with the salsa, was much better. Los Tres Garcia's on North Parkway is way better for carnitas.

This place is Mexican food tailored for Alabama taste buds, and that's how you get Rosie's and Bandito Burrito. Horrible places that people from here...

We've eaten here 5 times (all takeout so far), and we've been very impressed! Every dish has good portions, and is good value. I consider myself a serious guacamole aficionado, so I was excited to try their 3 different guacamole items on their menu. The traditional guacamole is very creamy yet with some chunks too. Very nice texture and a bit of pop to the flavor. The other two are more of a pico de gallo style and are very good too. The tamale is excellent, very moist and seasoned well. Any item with their ground beef (taco or burrito), is seasoned well too. The Burrito Verde is delicious. It's a large item itself, and it has shredded pork inside with a cheese sauce on top. Overall, everything is seasoned perfectly and every bite has been savory enough to keep us coming back for more. Highly recommended.

I've seen so many people recommending this place on Facebook, I thought I would give it a shot myself. First impression when I walked in was how clean, inviting, and calm the place was. Service was fast. I got the chimichanga supremes: one beef, one steak, one chicken, one steak. I don't typically like ground beef, but this was so flavorful! All 4 were amazing, but the beef and steak were the best. The rice, guacamole, pico, etc was also warm, fresh and flavorful. My boyfriend got the Mexican tacos, which were loaded with toppings. He said they had a subtle kick, a nice flavor, and the beans were great as well. Chips and salsa were always great- I loved that they made the salsa fresh and it had nice chunks still in it. Reasonably priced and awesome. Will definitely be back.

I went here because I heard they served great Mexican food. They were not wrong! We walked in and we were promptly greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and busy! We quickly ordered our food and the server was friendly and fast and for those wondering yes everyone speaks English, so don't be afraid. Come on in! Ordered some tacos and enchiladas. I say go for the combination meal. You get rice and beans and 2 choices of your preferred meal selection be it tacos, or enchiladas or burritos. The chips and salsa were really good and fresh and if you're really brave you can ask for the special hot sauce with a bit more kick. Overall for my first time here, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back. Delicious!
