Ordered on the app about 10 minutes before getting there, went through the drive thru and was only handed one of the drinks I had ordered (which was watered down). Asked where the other one (and some donuts) were, which apparently required three people to figure out I had ordered and paid for more than just the one drink. Eventually, they figured it out though and I got my other drink and donuts.
Meanwhile, I was "kindly" informed to order right as soon as I get to the store in the future, as they apparently "make it like you're already there", and that's why the drink was watered down... except more than half the order wasn't ready yet?
I'd be completely fine with it having been watered down if this were obviously the case and the whole order had been ready (it'd have made sense if that were the case), and if they weren't immediately contradicting themselves by not having any other item ready.
If you're going to tell someone that you supposedly always have their items ready at the window when you've ordered through the app, and use it as an excuse when nearly all the ice in their drink has melted by the time you give it to them, at least have the entire order ready so you actually have evidence to back that claim up.
And they were out of the donuts I ordered, so that was disappointing, but...
Read moreWas very disappointed, I'm hoping we just got the b team. There were two cars parked in the parking lot and we were the only car in the drive thru. We sat at the order board for about 5 minutes, pulled forward, took them about 3 or 4 minutes to take my payment, then he asked us to pull forward and park even though there was still no one behind us (it was about noon so I was still understanding thinking maybe they had kind of cleaned up the breakfast stuff they are having to make it fresh no problem) waited about 15 to 20 minutes before they finally brought our food out (and here's where my understanding goes out the window) my hash browns were saturated in grease and cold, my Wake-Up wrap was cold, my daughter's croissant thing was tolerable, they forgot our second order of hash browns so my daughter went in and that order was also saturated in grease and cold. I have worked in fast food before and I realize we arrived kind of late but to have to wait an unreasonable amount of time and the food still be cold... Like I said I'm hoping I got the b team, we will try again at a later date and if it is better I will update, but the service was bad enough that I felt the need to make a post hoping the operator, manager, owner, whomever, can make...
Read moreOkay so we all know that Dunkin' Donuts has the best coffee and the best donuts around. This is the first donut shop that has been in South Huntsville since Shipleys and that was ages ago. Well I was going through the drive thru to pick up a coffee before a long day at work. I had a lot on my mind. I usually order a large iced coffee with cream and sugar and a turbo shot. This time when I ordered, I forgot to say iced! I pull up to the window, the very nice young man took my payment and quickly returns with a large coffee. A large HOT coffee. As soon as I felt the heat from the cup, I realized I had make a mistake in not asking for ICED coffee when I ordered. Knowing that hot coffee doesn't agree with my stomach like iced coffee does, I ask the young man to please replace it with an iced coffee. I felt so bad! The young man came back within seconds with my iced coffee and a huge smile on his face! He was so kind and helpful even though I was the goof that asked for the wrong thing. He said not a problem and encouraged me to come back soon. That young man made my day. I wish I would have caught his name. Great customer service. I...
