I didn't even order because the atmosphere was so uncomfortable that I left immediately. I walked in with my mom and she asked for any recommendations from the cashier and he didn't say anything, he shrugged and mumbled something. She tried again to ask because we didn't know how it worked, but he didn't say anything. There was no music and it was very empty. We stood there for an excruciating minute while the cashier and ice cream server stared at us. Finally I said we should go and we left. It gives me chills every time I remember the experience. It was hot that day too. I really don't know if it was just the staff for that day or if it's always like this but I don't think I can go to that strip mall without having horrifying flashbacks. I don't think I can fully capture in words how torturing those moments were.
Editing to say after reading some other reviews, it seems like they used to be a good place but their new staff doesn't speak good English and aren't trained well. It definitely came across that way to me, but I didn't want to make assumptions. Maybe get your Asian food and yolo rollo from parkway...
Read moreThis place is a treat! It's not just an ice-cream shop, they're also coffee shop and a Asian café as well.. they also have some American dishes like breakfast sandwiches. So whether you want a frappe with a breakfast, or something for lunch or dinner they have you covered! They have (what looks to me) traditional fresh made ramen, and noodle soups. They also have your typical take out Chinese food (egg rolls, lo mein). Wish more places in Huntsville were like this. I'm surprised I didn't see many more people there... could be location and/or lack of a real name. Also I notice google maps just posts it as "ice cream" and you have to zoom in real close to the area to see it. I encourage anybody who can go here to go here. They make the icecream in front of your face (kinda like how hibachi is made in front of you) and it's delicious! Service is nice. Give these people your business, you won't be...
Read moreUnfortunately I have to edit my previous review of this shop. I loved coming here for ramen and was excited to see that they were branching out into other Asian food. However, when I went last Wednesday to order my favorite ramen in town, not only did the first person taking my order not even understand English, but I was eventually told they no longer serve ramen. I am highly disappointed with this place now and won’t be returning. They really had something good going and...
