Mind-blown deliciousness! I wanted to try to find some gluten-free (stomach safe) style dessert to close out my new man's birthday outing. I scoured the internet, looking for something different. Well folks, I found it! Now, I must admit, not all the toppings are gluten-free or dairy free, but we certainly made it work. I will continue my review at the bottom, after you know where to find Oh Crepe! For those of you, who are traveling, or unfamiliar to the new developments in Huntsville, you may get frustrated with the GPS. It simply sends you to the east side of Stovehouse and you may feel a bit stranded or lost. Go back far enough to find the parking lot, and parking is limited there. The several small businesses located behind the large equipment display and courtyard, amidst 3 larger bars to the front, side, and behind. Within that courtyard area is where Oh Crepe! is located. Trust me, it is in there. Weather pending, which we had a beautiful afternoon, there are alot of seating options, once you get your treats! It is a small business, as I mentioned, run by a couple of really nice younger Asian descendant ladies, who do speak English. The menu is on the right wall as you walk in. You pick your selection, and pay, and they go straight to making these huge, fresh rice crepes on heated metal griddles. They add your fruit, toppings, ice cream, etc. I got the giant strawberry chocolate truffle, with a few modifications (like giving him my Pocky, and cheated with some Nutella, which I can tolerate in moderation). He got the Chocolate pistachio, which comes with ice cream. I was floored when she gave these treats to us. They're huge! I'm talking over 24 ounces. They're like eating a whole meal! We were so stuffed, so happy, because they were fabulous! Noted, I'm glad that we had lunch between noon and one o'clock, and waited til 4:30, after our outing, to have dessert. Some may consider this place a well kept secret, but I imagine it won't take too long for word to get around about how fabulous it is. Enjoy! Update. Hadn't been able to stop back in for 2 years. We did for Mother's Day. It's still as yummy as I remember!

I love crepes, and I finally made my way over to try one of Huntsville's two spots for them. Oh crepe specializes in more Japanese style crepes -- they have sweet and savory options for a meal or for a dessert. They're often filled with fun goodies like Pocky sticks or matcha. They also have boba and different fruit teas. The interior of the shop is really cute (hi, neon lights!) and it always smells amazing, like a dessert factory lol. The employees are nice and work quickly and diligently. It's fun to watch them spread the crepe batter around on the machines. We opted to share a banana and Nutella crepe, my favorite flavor. It was yummy. The crepe was light and fluffy and subtly sweet and the bananas were the perfect ripeness. The chocolate Pocky sticks gave it an added crunch, too. I could have done without the chocolate sauce - it had a slightly artificially sweet flavor - and the crepe cooled off in what seemed like an oddly short amount of time. I prefer for my crepes to stay warm so the Nutella gets melty. Overall, though, I really enjoyed my treat! I would like to try a crepe with ice cream sometime, too. My biggest complaint is the silverware. Pretty much every establishment in stovehouse uses plastic ware, but the plastic forks here were extremely flimsy and not very strong. It was very difficult to cut my crepe into bite size pieces. I've used plastic forks to cut crepes before, so it's possible to do! Just not with the forks they provided. I wound up using my fingers a lot, which was very unsightly considering how much Nutella was involved, lol. Finally, I have also tried their brown sugar bubble milk before. It's yummy and sweet though rather heavy, and the boba usually has the right amount of chewiness. It's a fun little dessert in and of itself -- if you've never had it before, I would say the flavor reminds me a bit of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk. Try it sometime!

Review for Oh, Crepe!: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Title: Oh, Crepe! Almost Perfect! We’ve been huge fans of crepes ever since living in Japan, and Oh, Crepe! definitely brought back some amazing memories with their unbelievably delicious creations! I went straight for my favorite combo—banana and Nutella—and I wasn’t disappointed. The bananas were perfectly ripe, and the strawberries tasted like they’d been picked fresh that morning. Absolute heaven in crepe form. Now, as much as I loved it, here’s my only suggestion: flip the crepe! They only cook it on one side, so it ended up a little too crisp and overly done on the outside. A quick flip would make the texture perfect, soft but still with that light, golden crispness. Bonus - they serve several flavors of Calpico (aka, Calpis Water (but that doesn't sound right in English)). Highly recommend! Overall, Oh, Crepe! is absolutely worth the visit, especially if you’re a fan of sweet, fresh crepes. Just flip that bad boy, and we’re talking five-star perfection! I'm actually giving it five stars regardless!
