I've been waiting for this spot to open and it's finally here! Husband and I tried it out a couple weeks ago for a little date night type of deal and it satisfied overall.

This Blackpink (for those unaware, Blackpink is an extremely popular Korean pop music, or K-Pop girl group) themed spot at Stovehouse is on the end of the food garden, replacing Parm and Pepper. The interior is very cool and colorful, and there are about 3 small tables to sit at if you want to enjoy the music and atmosphere. As always, there's the outdoor food garden and indoor dining hall if you need a little more space.

The menu consists of Korean fried chicken wings and tenders and sides, from sweet potato and French fries to Korean cheesy corn and dukboki (small chewy rice cakes in a spicy sauce). They have one dessert - strawberry bingsu - and a cooler with bottled drinks.

We tried a little bit of everything since we were starving and also wanted to cover all the bases. Husband got 6 soy garlic wings and 6 sweet and spicy wings, while I got a three piece chicken tender (not a wing girly sadly, lol) with sweet and spicy dipping sauce. We shared French fries, dukboki (they were out of cheesy corn), and bingsu to finish. Despite being fairly busy, we were able to snag one of the three small tables inside and the food came out fast. It's packaged very thoughtfully and the wings even come with plastic gloves.

Hubs said the wings were crispy and the meat was juicy. Decent sized wings too. My chicken tenders had very flavorful breading and were not dry at all. The fries reminded me a lot of Checkers fries (honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were the Checkers brand you can get frozen). They were fine. Having never had dukboki before I don't know if what we had was an outstanding representation of it, but we certainly enjoyed it. I'd say it's mildly spicy but nothing to be too too scared of; the portion size is ample for sharing.

Our biggest complaints were that the serving size of fries was pretty small, and that neither of us enjoyed the sweet and spicy sauce (coating his wings or for dipping). We thought the flavor was really odd and not spicy at all -- more like a sweet and sour to me. We both agreed we wouldn't get that sauce again when we return, though we did both like the soy garlic.

The strawberry bingsu might've been the shining star! It was smooth, creamy, and cold, and had a bunch of thoughtful and delicious toppings, like Pocky, a Biscoff cookie, and sliced strawberries. So yummy!

Definitely a nice addition to Stovehouse -- minor criticisms aside, we're very happy...

Hidden Gem for Korean Fried Chicken Lovers

I recently visited a small yet vibrant spot specializing in Korean fried chicken, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and courteous staff, setting the tone for a fantastic experience. The atmosphere here is undeniably hip, with a modern, clean aesthetic that feels both welcoming and trendy—a perfect place to grab a bite or hang out with friends.

The fried chicken itself was absolutely divine. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor, it was easily some of the best I’ve had. The menu offers a variety of options, from classic soy-garlic to spicy gochujang, each one more tempting than the last. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite.

What also impressed me was the quick takeout service. Even during busy hours, the food was prepared swiftly without compromising quality. The convenient location made it easy to pop in and out, making this a go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

The management deserves a special mention for their polite and attentive service, which only added to the overall positive experience. With reasonable prices for such high-quality food, this place offers excellent value. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this Korean fried chicken joint is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be...

Amazing wings get the 16.95 amount with fries as both of your sides to get a good amount of both. Its kinda spendy but def worth it. You wont leave hungry getting what i said above. Also get whatever flavor you want they are all great. There most spicy are very spicy but they are not punishingly hot if you actually like spicy food you wont be disappointed. I'd recommend to anyone The only thing they are missing is moist towelettes to wipe off fingers after :P they have gloves but i hate gloves :P OO and maybe turn the music down just a tad just for conversation to be easier inside. I dig the vibes its just a little loud and i like loud music but not on a date or trying to communicate with anyone else :P anyhow its still 10/10 food def worth going just sit outside if the...
