Person taking orders was very friendly, went above and beyond. The corn dogs were fairly hollow (we had the new cheeseburger and mozzarella w original) inside and made eating it on the stick fairly difficult. We took them off and just cut them into bites as best we could. The issue isn't the taste. It's that the process needs to tighten the batter closer so it isnt impossible to eat on the stick OR fill it more.
The cheese corn....well, I'm sure there will be many fans of this. The cheese was gritty but the corn had just the right amount of crunch to it. I'm just unsure so I guess I could take it or leave it. And we left it today.
We also ordered chicken fingers. The batter isn't good or their fryers need serious cleaning/new oil. My wife didn't like the chicken itself. But the batter is my complaint as it reminds me of old school country batter with little crunch and inconsistent cooking. I'd not recommend the chicken to anyone.
Their signature spicy sauce for the chicken is great. I loved it.
Also ordered the deep fried strawberry shortcake but we took that to go and I haven't had it yet as we found it fairly warm inside and wanted to head out.
Long story short, just order the corn dogs. My FINAL RATING is based ONLY on the corn dogs. Otherwise, I'd drop it lower.
P.S. I also seem to remember their posting on FB that they'd have korean dishes like glass noodles and a few others but they arent on the board anywhere. It was definitely a let down for my wife who...
Read moreWhen I drove up to the place, there was a line out the door which is what I love to see for a new business. I got in line and waited around 2 hours to get inside and order but that’s not that surprising as it was the day after the opening day, so I expected a wait. The owner, which is a kind of older guy with a colorful tattoo sleeve, kept coming out and apologizing for the wait and thanking the customers for their patience and even gave out some free samples of the chicken wings and lumpia which are two items that’s on the menu. That alone was great service to me. I ordered two of the corn dogs (1 half mozzarella and half beef sausage and 1 full mozzarella). I only hate the half and half and it was so warm and pretty crunchy. It had a great cheese pull and the sausage was juicy. The inside of the store is a bit small but with it being located in a plaza with other stores right beside it, that’s kind of expected. There’s 3 tables with 4 chairs and two small tables with 2 chairs so there’s room to sit in the store. Overall, my experience has been great and I hope to come back soon to try the other items in the future. I would recommend for the restaurant to have some music to play in the background to just add some noise to the atmosphere and if you don’t want to or can’t wait long in line, I would suggest that you just wait a week or two for the opening week hype to cool down so that you can just walk in, try the good food, and enjoy trying...
Read moreI don’t know what kind of magic they sprinkle on their Korean corn dogs, but I left this place feeling like I’d just had a scandalous love affair—with cheese.
First off, the visuals alone? Absolute food porn. Golden, crispy, and glistening in all the right places. I locked eyes with that mozzarella-stuffed masterpiece and knew I was in for something steamy. The first bite? Hot, melty, stretchy cheese pulled away like a sultry whisper, and that crunch? More satisfying than a midnight text from your crush.
I tried the spicy mayo drizzle (highly recommend), which added a cheeky little kick—like a teasing wink across the table. Sweet, salty, spicy… it was a full sensory seduction. The sugar dusting on the outside is unexpectedly delightful, like kissing someone who tastes like dessert.
By the time I was halfway through my second dog, I wasn’t sure if I needed a nap or a cold shower. This place knows how to flirt with your taste buds and leave you begging for more.
If you’re craving something hot, messy, and totally indulgent—don’t walk, strut to this spot. Just be warned: one bite and you’re...
