Stars are given based on my first experience here and the food I was served. So I placed an order of sopa de pollo, which the description described it as generous chunks of chicken with tomato, onions, cilantro, rice and lime. When the soup came, first disappointment it was a small bowl unlike other Mexican places I've been to. That's fine, I understand different restaurant varies. 2nd disappointment, it looked like the order was wrong, it looked more like vegetable soup than chicken soup. So I waited for the waitress to return before starting my soup and she said chicken are in the base of the soup, I gotta "dig". So as the pic shows, that's how generous the chicken were in the soup, they were more generous with the carrots than the chicken because carrots weren't even in the description for the chicken soup. I had to look at the menu again and did a comparison and I'm very sure now it was vegetable soup and they threw in some chicken. My soup had celery and squash in it too which was part of the description for vegetable soup. Lastly, they didn't include a spoon for my soup and I had to ask for one. We were the only ones in the restaurant, waiters and waitresses acted very sloppy. I personally would've given it a 2 but my bf's dish looked fine and the pricing for their food is reasonable. So I raised it and figured it's just...
Read moreDON'T LET THE OTHER REVIEWS FOOL YOU LIKE I DID!! Stopped here because we were staying at a hotel close by and reviews seemed decent. I compared prices on the menu with another local Mexican spot and ultimately decided on this one since it was a little closer and cheaper. First off the prices listed on the menu on line are no longer current and every item or meal is $3-$5 more. What I thought would be a quick $25-$30 lunch was actually $60 for only 3 people at noon. Second off they MAKE you tip (work it into your total) even tho service was pretty terrible which was shocking considering we were the ONLY people there our whole meal. We are from out of state put pretty sure its ILLEGAL to force customers to tip. Third off food wasn't even good. I got 3 tamales and they were microwaved so long the ends of all 3 were completely hard and not edible. 3 tamales is $9.25 but if you only get 2 like my husband they are $4.50 each..... not sure how that math works but OK. The kids meals had an echilada that was so over cooked it was hard (not sure it they left it under warmer or what) but the rice and beans that came with were barley warm.
Its very easy to see why we were the only customers in this place. Don't waste your time or money. Worst meal of our whole trip. After spending $60 for lunch we...
Read moreI went on a cedar point trip from Michigan with my boyfriend this past weekend. Per website: CEDAR POINT DISCOUNT Show your Cedar Point ticket and receive a 10% Discount on the same day your visit Cedar Point!" (copied from website). When I told the waiter I had my tickets for the discount he asked me for my name tag. I was confused and showed him the tickets. When my boyfriend went up to pay he asked him if we worked at cedar point. My boyfriend told him no, we ae just visiting. Waiter said we gave you the discount this time but tha'ts only given to the workers at cedar point not the visitors... Obviously not a big deal it's 2-3 dollars off of an average bill but either way either they're fake advertising for more clients or there is a lack of communication. Also they claim to be 100% authentic but give flour tortillas with food lol. Customer service:...
