Subway — Restaurant in Huron Township

I hate having to leave reviews like this especially with small town chains that have cute stores that are all decorated and festive for the holidays but what i experienced today was unacceptable and disgusting. Walked in to a clean store which was nice. Only two people working. Girl and guy. Guy was out helping with subs while girl was in the back vaping while holding the door open while on the phone. She came back in eventually to help with vegetables and didn't wash her hands, just threw gloves on. Guy was very understandably embarrassed when he pulled out multiple loaves of wheat bread that were covered in white. When I saw this I assumed it was flour. The guy kept discarding the bread under the counter as if something was wrong. The girl had dark hair and piercings and told the blondish redish hair guy that the bread was fine. It was not fine. Upon inspecting the bread when unwrapping the sandwich back at the hotel, we quickly realized it was mold. On top of this, my daughters bread was raw and doughy still. When doing veggies the guy picked through the vegetables heavily which I was thankful for as the onions were bright pink and soggy and appeared to be rotten and the tomatoes were rotting as well. We were going to get cookies to go but they were rock hard. When filling our drinks, the guy talked to us about our Christmas and was very nice. He seemed to care lots unlike his female coworker. He had mentioned that the store wasnt open yesterday for Christmas which I assume means we were given old food from days before that had been stored over the holidays. Disgusting. Seems like all the good people are gone…I’ve been to this location twice now and both times got the worst service. The girl that made my sandwich was extremely rude. It was so obvious that even my 13 year old said something. The “manager” is the problem I assume, she was nasty to the employees the whole time we were there. The whole place was disgusting. The counter around the pop machine was gross, gnat flies everywhere, the tables hadn’t been wiped down at all. This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the quality is good and they get your order right, but most other times the order is either wrong or the quality isn’t great. Today, they forgot to include the bacon on my sandwich and I only got a few slices of roast beef on my “Beef Mode” sub. There was hardly any beef on it... totally underwhelming. I tried calling the restaurant and no answer. I’m not gonna waste my gas driving back to the restaurant for a few slices of bacon, so now I feel ripped off. Definitely not worth it if you ...
