I live in Hutto and yet would rather drive then come to this CFA. I choose to drive 15 min to the CFA in Round Rock because of the quality of food, professionalism, and friendliness I receive there far outweighs the CFA in Hutto. I worked at CFA for 3 years in Tyler, TX for the best owner, Ikey Eason, and have never once experienced this sort of environment where everything is terrible. The first time I went to the CFA was in June and I got nuggets and a sweet tea. The nuggets were dry, the tea had a terrible taste to it, and when I went back to tell them of these issues and asked for a replacement, they replaced the items and they were still the same quality: disgusting. Thought, maybe it's just a bad day, I'll try again another time. I went back pretty soon after because I crave tea all the time, especially CFA tea. Same thing, tea was disgusting. I decided to go back again and ask if the brew was recent or old because it tasted very old. The staff said it was a new brew. I said it tasted really gross. They asked what I wanted, and I decided on a totally different drink. I decided to try the CFA in Round Rock to soothe my craving. Their tea was exceptional and to my expectations. I decided, again, maybe it was a bad day at CFA again. I tried one more time. I ate inside this time with my friend. We both ordered #1 meals with fries and teas. Again, the tea was gross. The fries were old and not even hot. I was so disappointed by the meal I purchased, that I asked for a refund and left. I decided I would never go to this CFA again. I now go to the CFA in Round Rock which is 15 min from my home, compared to the Hutto location which is 4 min from my home. Today, I decided to try again to go to this location in Hutto. I went because I usually get a side of whip cream for my dog after she gets her nails done at the local nail clippers. A tradition we have. When I went, I ordered a 12 count nugget, and asked for a side of whip cream. The lady said, oh we donât give out free items. And I said, no I wasnât looking for something free, if she could charge me for the whip cream, or even a side of ice cream. My dog canât have ice. Ream bc it is upsetting to her stomach. The lady asked on the walkie of this was possible, and the responder said no. The lady asked even if I was willing to pay and the responder said no. I told the lady outside this is the 1st time they havenât been able to do it because the CFA in round rock does it. She said she didnât know. When I drove up, I tried explaining to the drive thru person that I would pay. Itâs like they werenât even listening. He just said no. I explained I am willing to pay. Still no. No âIâm sorryâ. No âLeg me askâ. Just ânoâ. No explanation. I left, disappointed or course, but accepting this might be the policy. I gave my dogs the nuggets, which were hot, but hard to bite into. I decided to throw them out. I have never experienced this type of disappointment at a CFA before. I will never be coming...
Read moreEdited... ok my first review was 4 months ago after they first opened. Now 4 months later my review has to change. They only get 3 stars now and that's for the quality of food no longer the great drive thru service that I had given 4 stars to. This is now the 3rd time the drive thru has messed up my order. At first it was the sauces I had asked for yet we're not put in the bag even though I asked at the window and was reassured they were in the bag. I get home and NO sauces. Then it was forgetting an item and now tonight it was completely the wrong order even after me giving them my name on the order. They need to go back to putting the receipt on the bag which list the customers name and items and STOP reading the orders off the scene because it's whats inside the bag that they are handing you that matters. NOT what they are reading on the scene. It's irritating when you have to turn around and try to find a parking spot in a parking lot that wasn't designed correctly in the first place and have to go inside to only stand in a line and wait to have your order corrected. I went thru the drive thru for a reason. Very frustrated with them right now as my son and friends have been having the same issues lately. ....
ORIGINAL POST 4 MONTHS AGO.. Love how quick the drive thru is. The only problem I have seen with the way the drive through is designed is when it becomes 1 lane instead of two if there isn't any employee's out there taking the orders and telling each driver where they fall in line it can become a pushing and shoving kinda of ordeal if you get my drift. One driver thinks the other one is cutting in front of them. But I have only witnessed this once so hopefully it doesn't become an issue. The food is always great and they have yet to mess up on my order. LOVE THAT!! THis restaurant has a great...
Read moreThis store location is usually always 10/10 when I go. I always get my food super quick and the workers are always friendly! Unfortunately today, I did have a bad experience with their delivery.
Every time I go, I always order the same thing, the spicy chicken sandwich meal with a side of mac n cheese. I always put mac n cheese inside the sandwich to both help with the spice and add in extra flavor! It's something I picked up from living in California.
Today I had ordered my meal from Doordash as I always order it, and I received everything except for my mac n cheese. Of course I reported my missing item on Doordash and ate my sandwich super disappointed that it was just a sandwich and drink, with no side at all. Way too spicy without the mac n cheese btw, so wasn't very enjoyable. For the prices that you have to pay for Doordash, plus all the extras fees, etc. It was pretty expensive and disappointing to be missing HALF of my meal.
I'm not sure if the issue today was because of new workers, or if it was maybe extra busy? I try to give fast food workers the benefit of the doubt as I've worked in fast food for about 3 years of my life (on and off) and I totally understand that mistakes do happen. But, when I was working at Dairy Queen, we got so many delivery orders messed up that they implemented that all the delivery orders must to put together and/or checked out by a manager before getting handed over to the dashers, so mistakes like this don't happen and get caught early. I'm not sure if Chick Fil A needs to implement something like this, but its something to...
