Dunkin' — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

This is at least the 2nd time I've ordered coffee with skim milk & Splenda and was given coffee with sugar(and perhaps cream). Today, the gentleman who served me was unfriendly and a bit arrogant. I confirmed that my coffee had skim milk & Splenda not cream(as he said the order back to me wrong upon ordering) and sugar, he assured me it was skim/Splenda. I told him about the error last time, again he confirmed it was skim/Splenda. It was too sweet to be skim & Splenda! Even the sweetened french vanilla isn't as sweet as my coffee was!!! He got my food order wrong(charged me for 2, gave me 1). When I mentioned it he brushed it off and took his time to complete my order .In fact, he fixed the beverage for the patron in line behind me, walked past the window, glared at me, I said "I'm waiting for my donut", he nodded, went to get it and handed the bag to me . No acknowledgement of the oversight or apology at all. The fact that the coffee is too hot to taste immediately puts patrons at a disadvantage when workers mess up their orders.

Overall, just an unpleasant visit causing me to not go back and tell the group I meet with nearby to bypass this location as well. It's very unfortunate as this store is so convinient, but the service...

They charge you for a cup of water even if you make a purchase- oh & its 1.78. I then asked to purchase a bottle water and was told “ 2 and some change “ …. Just awful and after asking to buy the water… I was told $1.78 for a cup of ice to go with the bottle water. This is unacceptable. My purchase was a cup of coffee and 2 doughnuts and water to wash down the doughnuts. Water at Starbucks is free with or without a purchase! A cup of water should be free for a paying customer especially choking off a doughnut from there. The rude manager told me… “Oh I ain’t gone be doing nothing later but reading your complaint”…… that was totally unprofessional and unnecessary. Well I thought this would be my new Dunkin but…. Here’s the thing, if you would have kept your mouth shut about all the problems you got over there that are Not my business I probably would’ve came back. I get it people call off Blah, Blah, Blah, not My business. But when I order a drink ONLINE and you decide to tell me, it’s gonna be The Same Wait if I stay in line Inside the store, I might as well go somewhere else! LIE TO ME!
