No Sauce AZ Smokehouse — Restaurant in Lake Township

Good morning. I went to this restaurant for the very first time yesterday. It says no sauce, but when I got my food, it was sauce, and they used this sauce to cover up the old French fries. The sauce is hot, but the fries aren't. I do not understand how they don't think people would know they were OLD FRIES!!!! They were food connoisseurs; they were black. I'm just saying the greens were sweet. They weren't cut. I asked for a spicy sauce; they told me no. I said You're correct. The sign says NO SAUCE, but they drown your French fries to mask that they're old AGAIN, in some type of sauce. I've never seen rib tips sliced like a sandwich. The Turkey link was HOT & they didn't even tell me that it was a spicy Turkey link; they gave it to me and added hot peppers. WOW!!! I usually don't comment on restaurants often because I try to stick to the places I’ve known for years. I’m over 50, but people need to know what they're getting when they walk into this place, and I couldn't understand why. I saw six people walk into the vegan restaurant next door to them, and one other customer came into theirs. Overall, it's not what it says it is; this is a new year. I like to support my people, but they need to change the sign....

Super disappointed first time I tried I had Turkey tips and I like the sauce and fries today I was like let me try their regular ribs. I come home open it and I was soooooo disappointed. My mom was even like oh no way they sold you this calling it rib tips. My parents were rib connoisseurs and our fav spot was Ribs Unlimited and Sonny’s but they’ve been closed for forever and finally found Sonny’s opened up all the way over East so finding ribs been near has been so hard. It’s sad because the worker or owner or whoever he is so nice and the place is very nice and clean and even the reviews were good but this ain’t it. Asked for fries well done and they were so greasy and they barely had any sauce on the ribs. I wouldn’t even sell something like this. Waste of my money and...

I've been looking for a new spot for Turkey tips, and had no problems with my old go-to. I always like trying my favorite dish at different places just to see who got it best. What attracted me to this place is the reviews on Google maps. I scrolled thru a few reviews and saw mostly satisfaction. Even my old spots had a few more negative reviews than I liked lol. But this place maybe has one bad review out of 100. To get to the point. This place is the ish. The Turkey tips and sauce had a flavor that made this old man get off his feet and dance. I loved it.
