Drinks and service where good, but the music that's another story. So basically every bar you go to has touch tunes and you pay to hear music you like and yes you pay extra to get it played faster on the list to an extent. So you do this a couple of times and then it bumps you back some down the list to give other people a chance and that's fine but last night it tried to charge me 8 credits to play my song 17th, I gave it a while and the same the bar itself or someone put a block on the touch tunes because the only type of music it steady played was country and Southern music 1 of the Covers on the song playing had a Confederate Flag on it. And by all means I like all kinds of music Country included but if you're sticking to just 1 Genre of Music and that seemed to be a Good ol Boy Genre don't know if this bar would be a recommendation at the Top of the list...

Old Time Taps took care of us at our wedding reception and we cannot say enough good things. They were so friendly, so wonderful and we felt so relaxed having them take such great care of everything bar-wise! They really go above and beyond and are so reasonably priced. I went to check it out because i heard the new owners are about to take it over. It's got some old charm but needs some work. The new owners say they want to bring it back to one of hegewisch's prime location for younger and middle age bar goers. I wish them the best and hope the can help bring back some of the old charm that this community...
