Roma Italian Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Idabel

When I went with my party of 3, our server was very kind and patient. Our issue lies with the manger ( I am assume they were the manager based on appearance and that they were manning the host/register stand). We had eaten about 2-3 bites of our food before we saw a roach on the floor, crawling towards us. At that point we had lost our appetite and were simply just going to let them know. It had started to go towards under the booth, so I had taken a photo but my phone died so my friend took one to simply show them in case it did go under there. We walked up to the manager and explained the issue and he apologized and said he would comp the meal. My friend showed him the photo and said he would only comp our meal if we deleted the photo because it would be "bad for the restaurant". She deleted it and he demanded to see her delete it or else he would not comp the meal. Then as I was actively in the car trying to leave, he came to our car, opened up the napkin in his hand and goes "it is a water bug, not a roach." We were not even going to make a review but his attitude and the fact that he was trying to demand we do things was just appalling! We may not have been from the area but we know the difference between a water bug and a roach. (FYI this is my photo not hers, she at least deleted it...

Being from out of town, I was asking the locals what are the best places to eat here in Idabel/Broken Bow. One of the place mentioned was Romas, and my wife loves Italian food so we decided to eat there yesterday. What a disappointment it was, and that's an understatement. If a food critic walked into this place, it would shut it down. We had to change tables three times because of how uncleanly it was. Our final table had dead flies on the window sill. The food we got was atrocious to say the least. My chicken parmesan tasted like it was frozen and then microwaved. Didn't even taste fresh at all. My wife's pasta looked like vomit in a bowl. Even the tiramisu tasted like Walmart tiramisu. I'm not really sure why the locals are hyping this place up so much because it's probably the worst Italian food I've had. I hope people that read this will avoid this restaurant from now on. Oh and of course the waiters are not well trained and keep coming back to repeat the orders we just gave them. When you ask a question, they look dumbfounded like you're talking to a robot. Maybe the first thing that needs to change is better training for staff. But...

Waiters were rude, had a waitress half way through that was nice and attentive, let’s start with the so called salad, sorry guys one slice of tomato on some lettuce is not a salad, the calamari was cooked great and nicely seasoned, really recommend the calamari, but can you please not bring out the main dinner 2 minutes after the starter it is customary to finish the appetizer before the meal shows, I had the shrimp and scallops fettuccine Alfredo, there was a nice serving of the seafood but you really need to quit using a microwave my fettuccine was extremely hot in the middle of the dish yet the seafood was wash at best, the sauce had a little to much cream and lacked the cheese taste it should have, my wife ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and same thing her pasta was extremely hot in the middle and the chicken was barely warm, she even said there is something missing from the sauce “the cheese” the fresh bread rolls they brought out were really good fresh and warm, good job on those. I was okay for quick meal or just something to fill you stomach but not really anything worth more than a...
