Super friendly, attentive and on point! Stopped in on a whim while out exploring and so glad I did. The experience was absolutely wonderful! Old west ambiance with historical photos and items adorned the establishment from floor to ceiling. I was told the establishment had been there for 50-something years and now I know why! The servers and bartenders attention to detail, friendliness and just overall welcoming vibe is refreshing to say the least. The kitchen knows their way around the grill as well. I enjoyed one of the best burgers I’ve had…ever. Not over cooked and robust with flavor and let’s not forget to mention the hand-cut home fries. They are to die for! I also enjoyed a porter that was outstanding! Thanks for going above and beyond, making this southern gal feel welcome and at home from go! You guys ROCK! We will most definitely be back!

If you haven’t been to Diamond Lil’s you haven’t been to Idaho City! This is my first time to this small mining⚒ town. Wow, the historic feel is authentic starting with Diamond Lil’s! I wish I could have spent more time reading and looking at all the memorabilia on the walls and ceiling. There’s so much! The pictures do not do it justice. You’ve got to experience it for yourself. Saturday night is the prime rib special! I hear it’s to die for. We didn’t get to experience it but next time we’re in town we will for sure!

We stopped in after a pleasant drive up from Meridian with visiting relatives from Texas. This is a great place for a “taste” of old Idaho. The decor , plank floors, old pictures, etc. are so perfect for a visit to Idaho City. The service was extremely friendly and the food was great. We highly recommend a visit here if you are in Idaho City - great old time city!

My wife had gone out to the car as I was paying for a really good lunch- and Diamond Lil actually came to my table. We had a very lengthy discussion about life in general . You'll have to go to Idaho City and enjoy lunch or dinner as the menu is complete with a number of selections for just about anybody's favorite meal and a very interesting 50 oz steak is available. Holy cow that is going to challenge some really big meat eaters. The staff is extremely courteous and attentive. you will feel very welcome and enjoy all the visual atmosphere that is posted on the walls... somewhat of a history lesson about Idaho City...thanks again Li, l -I know our discussion about all the aches and pains and surgeries we've had probably shouldn't be posted here today but as we reach senior maturity what else is there to talk about, right? Lil is special and I appreciated her coming out of the kitchen to say Hi. Visit Diamond Li'ls soon before the snow makes the visit...

Worst lunch in Idaho city. I normally would not write a review, but had to call out the poor lunch we received. We thought we would try a change from where we normally go in Idaho city for lunch. We live in the same county, so a quick drive to Idaho city for lunch is fun. The crispy chicken sandwich I had was ok, but lettuce was limp and suspect which detracted from the sandwich. Wife had the chicken strips and were ok. We both had the tater tots(side) were under cooked and soft/soggy. How do you get tater tots wrong. Service was ok, but slow. There was only a few people in the restaurant. I liked the atmosphere/spirit of the business and all the history, but it was a dive. The restrooms smelled and looked like a true biker bar restroom. How about changing out the spittoon in the bathroom every once and a while and...
