Taco Time — Restaurant in Idaho

It's in a gas station/truck stop....get used to it.

Food seemed okay, but was just okay for casual fast food Mexican type food. On par with Taco Bell. Stuffed "Mexi-fries" were a nice surprise. Having never eaten at one the staff was not helpful with suggestions for what to try. Even when clearly asked "if you were to order your favorite food what would you get here?" they couldn't really help.

Drink station is shared with other food options and was not kept well. Lids were not available and spills were not wiped up. Not sure if there is a set "dining room" person to handle cleanup of drink station, but somewhere an employee should come out and service the drink stand more to keep it tidy and stocked.

Tables were mostly clean, but again, staff need to keep up with keeping tables and floor clean in the eating area.

Clearly between the three food options there would be somebody always responsible for keeping the eating area and drink station clean!

-1 star for not suggestion great menu option -1 star for drink station and eating...

Horrible place to eat! We stopped after being in the car for 10 hours with 2 hungry babies!!! They were out of beef, okay no big deal we'll take chicken. We waited for our food, it was almost closing so we were fine with waiting. We got our food and it was ice cold, when I say ice cold it literally felt like they stuck it on our kids soft tacos out of the freezer. So my husband takes it up there and they said they'd remake them. As were waiting I open my nachos that were also cold and looked like they microwaved them as the cheese was all melted to the to go box and hard. Both our big juans were cold as well so we got a refund and left with 2 crying kids to go to the taco bell up the road....

08/29/22 Food was decent for what it is. They gave my wife nachos with no meat. She went back inside and they were all vaping in the kitchen. She asked for the meat and guacamole and the guy at the counter said he would take care of it. She gets it back. Still no guac and she asked if it comes with guacamole and he yelled at her that they are out like she's supposed to know. If you're gonna be disrespectful for no reason at least do it when you're not breaking health codes. She was nothing but...
