Wow we recently received awesome coupons fall October thru December 2021 that the prices on some items are about half price if not much less.
Years ago my late BF daughter was the store Mgr and other staff that was a mess of location store near us. My husband and I during those years when picking up pizza was very dirty inside and when ordering pizzas were late and during winter it was quite cold waiting our pizza or in our car. Occasionally we received wrong pizzas. During winter ice and snow on the sidewalk to get into the store from our car into the store to pick up our items had terrible sidewalks uncovered and so treacherous I almost fell a few times. We also while watching on late time still waiting saw the phones ringing forever and quite a bit not answered. (Thank goodness for ordering online now.) By the 5th time mess up we 100% stopped ordering.
Going about 10 years later with recent tremendous coupon in 1st paragraph we have ordered almost each week 1 order and even twice 2 orders. Omg, omg, what humongous changes that its like why did we stop ordering. The place is always on time. Easy to order from online which you can see progress of order we know what time to go drive to the location and pick up our order. Not any problems at all. We haven't had any winter yet to see sidewalks yet.
Best part is pizza taste and other items we have ordered have been tremendous and to die for in taste and more. Best "fast food," pizza in eon. The pizzas really feel with alot of ingredients, meaning you get your money with. But the taste no matter various we have ordered are so yummy with terrific taste. Our only problem is once coupon ends date we will very occasionally be able to order only due to price. See I had 4 major medical in recent years we have to watch money and regular price is something we can't afford but with signing up our email to them I would think coupon offers may send us. Best coupons we have ever seen on similar type stores.
The staff at Grayslake currently have a great team together. No problems yet except one time we didn't receive the garlic butter in the container inside pizza box which wasn't that bad. We figured with all restaurant places and other business are hurting for full staff and I bet this location is short staff like all other locations.
Ok enough is too much to write. I just wanted to say how impressed my family is and we don't get too many type pizza similar don't receive such impressed statements from my family as Grayslake location. I bet other PJ locations have equally great tasting pizza. Prior to this location we lived in Wisconsin and that location PJ was very good, going 12 years ago. We only stopped Grayslake because of such poor staff and management problems 10 years back is only way we stopped due to quality for the higher prices in compare to other pizza places nearby. Thank you current Grayslake location staff and coupons that had us give it a second chance. It worked. PS when you use online you can keep using the coupons we use each time. Well our pizza is just about done. Time to eat dinner đ

We added that we wanted a pizza sauce cup and one packet of special seasoning to the order when we made it through the Papa John's app. Disappointed that the pizza sauce cup and the Special Seasoning packet were missing in the box. I used to work on the Makeline at Papa John's Rockford and I would always double check the orders before the delivery person went out to deliver. On the app it won't let us comment what was wrong with the order when we gave the app review and to make a complaint, the app states we have to call the manager. Don't think it's worth calling the store for. Pizza is good at least. Please make sure to double check the orders before delivering to ensure the customer has what they paid...
   Read moreI called to complain a young lady answered I asked her if she was the manager she said no but I can go get you one. I told her I had just past the restaurant and there was a gentleman in front of the store smoking a cigarette with his apron on. I told her I hope that wasn't your manager she says I don't know. First off why are you answering the phone rudely why are you even working and can't talk to a customer appropriately when receiving a complain. Anyways she passes me the manager after I told her what I seen and all she can say is oh well like I said I don't know here's the manager. IT WAS THE MANGER OUTSIDE... SMOKING WITH HIS APRON ON.
