I was pretty disappointed by my experience here. I’ve been here in the past and have really enjoyed their food so when the hankering for some quick Mexican food came I immediately thought of Ricky’s.

We ordered a chicken burrito, tacos and a torta. My chicken burrito was just ok. It has barely any toppings like cheese and avocado, both of which are supposed to come with the burrito. My first 3/4 of the burrito was just straight chicken. I under at and that’s what some people may like but I wanted more toppings throughout. Additionally, the chicken was juicy but bland.

The torta was soggy but that’s to be expected for takeout I think. The tacos were OK but again not great. They were fairly dry and you had to add salsa or lime for any real flavor. With a bill totaling almost $50 the food was just not superb enough to justify it. Plus, they forgot our guacamole which wasn’t a huge deal but marred the experience. For the record they did issue a refund immediately when we told them.

Overall I likely won’t be back for awhile as I search for better food around. Los Primos in Goshen...

I went there last week but since they do the car hop, man it took 45 mins to get a simple 2 steak tacos and 2 carna asada burritos. I understand that it's a wait with car hop but I called in to order, asked them how long, was told 20mins. I'm think fine because we were coming back from Goshen so by the time we get there, it should be done. When I got there, went in and paid, was told 10 more mins. Ok, since there's only 2 other cars. But what I don't understand is why did people that came in after us got their food before us. I have seen 5 cars left before I noticed it. That's what I don't understand. So they came and ask us our number and didn't come back and tell us anything. So my bf went in and ask for our food. They had it in 2 separate ticket. I called about 7:45pm and didn't get home about after 8:30. Never going there again and I use to like that place. I could have made those faster...

Placed a To go order, checked it and it ended up being wrong. 4 flour asada tacos American style (tomato, lettuce, cheese, sour cream). They gave me 4 traditional (cilantro and onion) on corn. Went back for them to correct it, they were extremely rude and mumbling under their breath. I just feel like their customer service isnt up to par, the food isnt even spectacular and they couldve went about the situation completely differently. I wouldnt recommend them at all. The place is extremely small, the meat is fatty, not much room to eat inside OR park, it also smelled like garbage seeing that their dumpsters are right outside their doors. I'd also like to add that when the order was corrected, they just threw the sour cream in the container like they didnt care how the order went out. I cant believe I drove over 45 minutes just to be disappointed...

When I worked within a mile of this place, we had Taco Tuesday every week. This is authentic mexican food. Thank you to the genius who thought of putting toppings on two tostada shells, so I wouldn't ever have to eat a soggy tostada. My co-workers always enjoyed the chicken and steak street tacos, the burritos, and the horchata. Also, I accidentally ordered a gallon of the chips and salsa once and then purposely ordered it a few more times before I moved away. This food is addictive and I assure you, you will enjoy. The only thing I don't recommend are the nachos and I'm still giving it 5 stars, because this is authentic, you don't need phony tex-mex nachos. The staff are always very kind and patient. Ricky's is very popular, so you better get your order in well ahead of time.

Not sure what all the hype is about this place. But it's actually pretty basic, and the food is only average. Nothing unique about this place or their food. This place is extremely small, very limited seating. It's clear most of their business is carryout. Which I personally don't understand why, especially when authentic Mexican tacos taste best when they're eaten right away.. but that's just my opinion I guess. I personally won't return, mostly because I know there are better tacos elsewhere at places that have adequate seating and actually bring chips and salsa to the table.
