Very disappointed with Kroger. The one day and time I was counting on Kroger and their employees they fell short and failed! On 12/24/2020 I entered Kroger at 5:30pm. In a hurry, short for time I was sure and I was going to get my last minute groceries for Christmas. I was wrong! This was my go to store but after what I went through I will be making changes for 2021. No one should have to stand in line 15 minutes patiently. Finally get up to the cashier, put my items on the check out table. To be told that she is only taking credit cards, not cash!!! She should of announced that to all the many individuals standing in line! Me being the type of person that doesn't take no or you can't for a answer or an excuse. I drove to Meijer and got everything and some and was able to pay cash!!! Meijer in that last hour of being open sure did make a lot of cash!!!$$$ I wonder just how many individuals walked out of Kroger and went to Meijer and gave their cash...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere are so many good stores and eateries in one place! You don't have to travel all over for what you need! Before going shopping stopping in at Bill's BBQ is a must. If you haven't been there you're missing out! Tender rib tips, a great variety on the menu and prices that won't kill your wallet. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Big Lots is just the right place for all your household needs, outdoor decor, and you can even pick up a few groceries that you may need. Also there prices are very reasonable. Then you have the best Krogers around. They always have a great selection of produce, fresh fruits, fresh meats, etc. I find so much there that other stores don't carry. And one of the best features is that it's right on the Trolley line. So you can get everything you need in one stop, all within a block...

Then more stores were added and the entire complex was closed in and became an indoor mall, way before Concord Mall. Had good variety of stores and was a nice place. Then slowly the businesses and shops started going out of business. It became pretty much a ghost town. Now it's been redesigned again and really for me the only stores worthwhile here are Kroger's, CVS pharmacy out on the corner, and Bill's Bar-B-Que in the parking lot towards the west. It's a shame that online shopping killed the local Mom & Pop stores and shopping...
