China Buffet — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I have been coming here for over 5 years. They have decent food and is in a good location. Problems just started here recently. The husband and kids are very nice but the wife has lost her mind. My family and I eat there 2 to 3 times a week and when I ask for 2 pieces of fried fish, she now charges me $1 a piece. Yesterday I went for lunch, fish was out. Waited 20 minutes and none was brought out. When I asked the wife/owner for more... she said they're switching to dinner so if have to pay!! Why, it was supposed to be on the buffet anyway!! Today, I went in with my family. I told her 4 adults... and the one child won't be eating here. She asked did he want a drink. I said if he wants a drink he can have a drink of mine. We drink water anyway. She said IT IS ILLEGAL to share at a buffet. A SIP of WATER?!?! She was so rude!! I asked for my money back and she was being very cocky about it and said she didn't care. I have been a long standing customer that always cleans up after ourselves and does not waste their food or complain when we have to pay $1 for a piece of fried fish.

Now I will NOT GO BACK because of the treatment we received. Never complained about kids working the register or the smell of poo on one side of the restaurant. Quietly put the dirty cups or bowls down and grab another one. This is the thanks we get for spending our hard earned $$ at their establishment. ...

Would give no stars because I got no food. Google says they closed at 10 on Sunday. I drove 15 minutes to get there so I would have time to eat and not get old/leftovers. Got there at 830. Employee was standing at register eating a full meal?!?! Then I was about ready to go. But I was hungry and had family in car. I was going to keep on and eat anyway but I said let me look at buffet food first. Nothing really looked fresh and 1 steam table was totally empty and cleaned. No sushi items available. Mostly fresh fruit bar was the only thing full. Then my mom says just go on and eat because we were there already. Then employee says it's carryout only because they were getting ready to close. I asked if they closed at 10 and he says no 930. Ok well you need to change your Google times so people know. I drove past 2 other places that closed at 930 and came there just so I would not bother people. Now I'm bothered. But I will not bother to go back. And you should give breaks so the employee does not have to eat, standing up at the counter, with mask around chin-covid you know?!? Well don't know about food quality because I left hungry and had to have Mexican instead of Chinese...I'm...

The food was negative stars. It was 33$ even for 2 adults around dinner time/4:30PM. Every single dish was disgusting. The food tasted tough & chewy & stale as if made multiple days ago & just got reused over & over. The sweet & sour sauce looked like ketchup watered down with some sugar. Was not even real sweet & sour sauce. Even the steamed white rice tasted burnt. The sugared biscuits were the size of a quarter & also a little tough. The “bbq grilled chicken kabobs,” had 0 flavor or sauce & also tasted stale. Meat tough & chewy. The chicken that appeared to be orange chicken was stale & tasted as if it was cooked in honey or sugar sauce only no orange chicken flavor. Also was wondering why they didn’t have any labels over most of their food, this is probably why because it was not legit they just threw whatever out there not fresh not properly flavored. There was not 1 dish that was pleasant. Wish we could have gotten our $ back but I don’t think they would have done that for us. The place was empty so it was quiet but kind of pointless for that privacy when you can’t even eat your food. My partner did not eat any of their food either & normally will eat just...
